It's actually quite common. I think it's mostly just force of habit. Or maybe they think if they get caught, they won't get charged for failure to signal.

I have seen countless videos of suspects using their turn signals...their brains are in panic and auto mode.

9:12 We'd call that truck "lifted." It's a fairly common moddification made by owners of pickup trucks. Though, it's mostly an esthetic choice as lift kits don't really benefit the vehicle aside from better off-roading as it might allow you to put bigger tires on. But I think most people lifting their trucks aren't taking them off road. Though, some lift kits do get quite big and ridiculous.

I've been on the freeway a few times when guys buzz by with cops behind em, your supposed to move over for emergency vehicles but when your cruising at 70 and they come up on you at 100+ not much you can do but maintain and hope they dont hit you.

I see them every day all day in Texas and they still look weird to me no matter how many times I see them. Seems like a pretty ignorant thing to do to your truck but maybe its just me.

The PIT maneuver didn’t work at first because the truck’s center of gravity is so far forward. In most other vehicles a little nudge on the rear quarter panel will send it around. I’m not an expert.

It looks like he's was eastbound on Rt 81 heading east, from Little Rock and towards the bridge over the Mississippi and into Tennessee.

We don't use the rear view mirror to put on makeup. We use the conveniently placed vanity mirror in our driver side shade. 🙂

Yeah there are quite a few aggressive police departments. However, there are just as many departments with no pursuit policies. Get the tag number and let them go.

It was an Arkansas State Trooper who flipped a pregnant woman on the interstate because she didn’t pull over fast enough. So, Daz’s characterization at the beginning isn’t far off…

These are Arkansas state troopers. Arkansas is my home state, so I knew right away as soon as I saw the blue stripes on the hood (or bonnet) of the interceptor. These guys do not play. Troop L is my local state police troop, and we see them all the time. My opinion of police has significantly lowered the last few years, but you gotta respect stuff like this where they take dangerous idiots off of public roadways.

Signing up to be in a dangerous race or to go sky diving is a little different than being an innocent bystander in a car going the opposite way as a cop fish tails a truck into you Daz lol That was not an appropriate area to be trying a PIT maneuver IMO. He also could have killed him if he went off the ridge and into a tree.

the police chase in USA are always so aggressive...here in the Netherlands its very controlled...pursue him but with caution...try to box him in...and if its getting too dangerous for other people...they will stop the pursuit...get a helicopter to keep him in sight

I imagine you dont get them as frequently though. Just due to population size, difference of big and small vehicles capable of high speeds, etc. We probably have more idiots in the US too who dont want to face major prison time, and i imagine our prisons are a lot rougher, so these schmucks dont want to get caught

This isn't the netherlands though. Different policies, different financial/resource constraints (air support), higher crime rate = more constraint on resources, higher chance of an armed suspect, etc, etc. Cops here are more aggressive because they have to be.

Theese idiots cause so much more trouble of themselves. Instead of just getting a ticket or getting arrested for a warrant, etc they now face several other charges, possibly felonies.
