As a Burlesque Producer and Director and occasional performer taking something modern and making it Vintage with great style is what we strived for. They have left many negative comments about her, going from one AJ reactor to another. The comments are some times really nasty and uncalled for. Haley came in 3rd on American Idol in 2011. She should have won. Simply the greatest voice on the planet. Did this and a few others (esp. 7 Nation Army) with PMJ in 2015 and all of them are as good as this one. She just released a new one with her return to PMJ "DON'T SPEAK".

PMJB do awesome covers in lounge style jazz. Their whole library is worth a visit.

All the ladies of PMJ are really good. And some of the guys are surprising. Some are REALLY surprising. LOL!! You will see if you start watching their stuff. I won't spoil the surprise. I don't care for American Jazz too much but they do a good job of it. And a lot of it is rock tunes converted to jazz.

I have heard this song done by just about everyone who has ever done it but, absolutely nobody, Nobody does it like this woman! She has more vocal styles and niches than anyone I have ever heard in all my 60 years as a professional musician!! I'm not really certain there are any adjectives that properly describe what she is capable of! When I heard this by Radiohead years ago, I thought it was a cool song. What this artist does with it is turn it in to a musical performance In a class all by itself! I wonder if she didn't win on American Idol because they had nothing to compare her to that was competitive with other acts! Like running a car in a race with no category. The car can't win because there is nothing to compare it to!! I've seen this performance being compared to and rated by at least 6 different vocal coaches and performance judges and none of them knew what to call her and her performances. PMJ, Post-Modern Jukebox, is always delightful! I love just going through random PMJ playlists, I learn more about genres of music I like than if I listened to songs that started out as those genres originally!

I've heard Haley sing this live - no post production on these videos - one camera one take. Her vocal control is on par with Floor Jansen (whom you should check out from her recent solo concert in Amsterdam. "Slow Love Slow" is fabulous. You can find it on her channel.)

Her performance of this song is the most seductive piece of music ever recorded. She defines what it means for a woman to be sexy and she isn't shaking her rear or acting like an idiot. Heck, she barely moves, but my GOD that woman is sexy as hell! I have literally watched hundreds of reactions to her performing this song and it is always the same, women watch it and comment about how great she did while trying to talk about the vocal techniques she used. Men fall in love with her somewhere right after the start of the song and by the end of the song every single man that has watched her performance would give her anything she wanted without hesitation. If she asked for the moon on a necklace, every man would fight to be the guy that managed to get it for her.

You don’t know what the hell you were talking about her voice was absolutely perfect. There was no production put on her voice that was a live video that was shot in between concert days she did it in one take. I think you guys are UNics because this song was sultry, sexy and drew you in. Haley was teasing you with her voice and her moments and Sat around the table with no emotion.

I first heard VPJ at my brother-in-law's wedding. It was playing while everyone ate, and before the DJ really kicked off and people starting dancing. It felt genuinely like a vintage soundtrack you might play in the background of a high-end dinner or upscale gathering. So it took me a few minutes to focus in on the words and realize these were all modern songs, presented in a very different style and it was AMAZING!!! This was the first full song I heard, where I understood what I was listening to. The song that made me realize this was the tail end of 'Hit Me Baby, One More Time'.

I saw Radiohead play a place called Soma in San Diego at a festival for the radio station 91X in March 1996. It was 6 bands, 3 truly forgettable bands and then Radiohead, Insane Clown Posse and Blink 182. I was 5 feet from Thom Yorke listening to him sing this song without the aid of a speaker. It was a truly transformative experience. I became the biggest fan from that day forward.

I just heard this two days ago for the first time. I didn't like Creep when it first came out (guess I was too old plus my son played it CONSTANTLY) but I LOVE this and her voice. This was a first take, btw.
