@@dondressel452 Yeah that’s not reality though. If prisoners were ever released for good behaviour, the prison system would be beyond overcrowded. They’d have to build many more prisons. Also, there would be no incentive at all for prisoners to try and improve their behaviours inside. So you would have even more dissent and disorder inside of them. There would literally be no point. Therefore, prisoners would commit more crimes inside of the prison, and then get even longer sentences. Cramming the prison system even more. Before you know it, every street corner has a prison!

@@bobbydukes5407 There's bank robbery and bank robbery. One is commited by desperate with a note "I have a bomb", taking $2000 and being caught at parking lot. And another is guy literally taking over small police station and hitting a bank. That's career criminal with lots of balls and no regard for anyone. With such fella, tidy prison cell and complying with prison officers doesn't turn him into better person eligible to leave prison after 1/2 of sentence.

Ted Jeffrey Otsuki is an American criminal of Japanese decent from Harlingen, Texas and a former member of the FBI Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list who was added as number 415. Otsuki killed a police officer, Roy Joseph Sergei, and critically wounded another after they had come across him by mistake in an alley on October 2, 1987. Otsuki was on parole at the time from the federal prison at Leavenworth, Kan., where he was sentenced to 15 years on bank robbery charges. He was also wanted for possession of explosives he allegedly intended to use in bank robberies in San Francisco. Otsuki was wanted for the 1987 murder shooting of a Boston, Massachusetts police officer, when Otsuki had fled Boston after the murder. A murder warrant was then issued for Otsuki's arrest and capture and he was then traced by the police to the city of San Francisco, California. Otsuki was captured in Jalisco, Guadalajara on September 4, 1988 by both the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and Mexican Federal agents. 'The evidence in this case was beyond overwhelming,' the judge said before sentencing Otsuki to the state's maximum security prison in Walpole. The sequestered Suffolk Superior Court panel returned seven guilty verdicts, including first-degree murder, Otsuk being found guilty was then sentenced to life in prison without any chance of parole.
