Cop jumps on moving car for no reason at all, cop then charges assault on a police officer. Traffic infractions should not required the driver to be placed under arrest. Nor does it allow a traffic cop to jump on your car. Always film the police, get a dash cam.

the pole video shows the yellow-vested detective intentionally striking the vehicle with his hand or wrist as the vehicle was braking and already coming to a stop.. unless my lying eyes are deceiving.. it's plain as day in the video

Not only no body cams, but many cop cars facing Scotty's car and only one cam from a cop car? The whole department is crooked. Wow! All those cop cars have cams rolling 24/7 there's no turning those cameras off. Where are all those videos?

the Prosecutor is as corrupt as the Police... the "Officer" committed false arrest, false imprisonment, aggravated assault, aggravated battery, mis-malfeasance, falsifying charges, falsifying government documents, deprivation of rights; the "Officer" is also the sole cause if 95% of his injuries latching onto a moving automobile when he could have (being an accident scene recreation expert) instead pounded on the hood or trunk to get the driver's attention... the Prosecutor is also REQUIRED to disclose exculpatory evidence, AND prosecute the "Officer" if there is evidence of the "Officers" wrong doing... If there is any true Justice the "Officer" should not be being treated as thought everything he did was lawful, and everything Scottie did was unlawful...🤔

The officer was wrong and he knows it along with the other officers there, at least one or all of them should've had their body cams on.

A big misunderstanding? This guy is to nice. It’s a other police misconduct with false allegations. I think camera was on but shows that the cop is lying and for this reason now they claim no footage. This cop would just ruin a other regular guys life with this allegations, but Scheffler has all the money in the world to defend himself. Hope he sues this cop and the Police Department.

I thought tackling cars was normal for police dogs... oh it was a cop not a dog... why is a guy tackling cars? How does jumping on cars stop ppl from getting hit by cars... seems rather counter intuitive.

From what i can see Its a case of a first responder emergency that turned into a death investagation. Mr. Scheffler chose to continue to move his car and he could not hear the officer commands. Emergency lights were on. The accident turned into death invertigation the same minute Mr. Scheffler was there. I would issue a ticket , pay a fine and time served. Al respect to the family of the decesed.

I hope the Louisville PD union follows up on this ridiculous situation. Drop the charges if you want, but don't blame the officer who was just trying safely manage a potential crime scene.
