Very nice & interesting video! Must've taken a lot of time, work and research... Well done! (To simplify it even more, recent scientific & liguistic research confirmed the existence of the previously, only hypothetical "Altaïc or Trans-Eurasian" language family. This means the Mongolian/Mongolic, Turkic, Korean(ic) & Japanese/Japonic languages can actually be coloured the same, as they are all part of this now confirmed language family.)

Why is there an Indo-European language in Russia in the Republic of Sakha Yakutia and not a mixed one? We have 2 official (government) languages and 7 official languages

That’s the case for a lot of countries on this list. But it’s the official language of the entire country that’s counted. Otherwise Catalan would include Spain and not just Andorra as Catalonia (a region within Spain) has it as an official language.

European major languages origin can be reduced to one, actually; Romance, Germanic and Slavic languages come from Indo-European. Europe is an interesting paradox: while almost every country has its own language, it's considered by far the less diverse continent in terms of linguistics, since the vast majority of these languages belong to the same family.

Balto-slavic doesn't make sense as the baltic languages aren't slavic. They belong to the Finnish-Ugrish languages with Finnish, Estonian, Latvian, Lihuanian and Hungarian.

The proposed family is called balto-slavic because it is a common group of the baltic and slavic languages. Baltic languages are Indo-European and unrelated to the Uralic languages. Lithuanian and Latvian are Baltic, Finnish and Estonian are Finnic. Feel free to post any proof of your comment here.

It’s only cooficial in the Basque Community and part of Navarre, not in the entirety of Spain. Catalan is included because it’s the official language of Andorra.

Galician is not included along with a lot of languages as it is not official on a national level. Funny you should say Galician is missing but Catalan, Basque, Aragonese, Aranese and Astur-Leonese are not.
