No. Tifinagh is an abjad, not an alphabet. And, Tamazight is not an Afroasiatic language. Berber as an exonym ought to not be used.

In my opinion, alphabet (if called that) is one of the most important reasons for counties independence. China for example has a significant majority but also small minorities. They once used several types of Kanji for 1 thing until it was organised into a single balanced Kanji set.

Doesn't Korea have a different alphabet from China? Likley has different language too but in China, it is very diverse on minorites besides Han Chinese.

Korean uses the hangul alphabet and the Chinese diaspora uses a logographic system.

Portugal got its independence in 1143, the Iberian union was a little bit like Austria-Hungary, both were sovereign states under one king, in 1640 they only left that same union but were an sovereign state all along.

But Turkey did not exist before the allied invasion. The Ottoman Empire was a separate nation. Iran was influenced and occupied but never colonised or annexed.

Ah yes that treaty instead of war. Wars happen eventually though and Spain tries to make a new union with Portugal. I wish other European powers played more of a rule like France. Heck, in a Kitchen Nightmares episode in Paris, there is a Brazilian guy that speaks in only French. :)
