This area is proof for me. That no matter how flawed these game are, there is a future for pokemon. And it is awesome.

The crystal tree area would've been perfect for a secret encounter with a Stellar Tera Xerneas.

That crystal tree on the island made me think of it being a reference to Yggdrasil, the world tree. Feels fitting given the Underdepths feel like they are in a different realm altogether and you crossed into that realm yourself

Venturing down below Area Zero really reminded me of Tears of the Kingdom where you dive deeper into the center of Hyrule's Depths to confront and battle Ganondorf.

The more I play and consume content on these games, the more I see the flaws I ignored. One thing's for certain is Pokemon never loses its touch with the music. This theme is enchanting.

I love how in this version, it first starts as though a distorted version of the original, and the vocals are ABOVE YOU. That's such a cool detail. THEN WHEN THE NEXT VOCALS DROP. YO. I know Toby Fox helped with the music, and that's why it's so dope.

I like to think that it’s the ancients that witnessed Terapagos those ages ago are who we hear as the choir. Echoes of them that could still ripple in the crystal caves. They’re referenced in its pokedex entries.

The chimes in the background add magic

This gives me so much goosebumps. It’s chilling and nerve-racking. The underdepth really gave me this daunting feeling and as you travel further deeper into an unknown void, it kinda gives that fear of the unknown. Hahaha. But anyhoo, this music is really befitting to the area.

This theme perfectly fits a cave way deeper than area zero, it gives the feeling that you aren’t supposed to be here

Certainly a gorgeous albeit relatively empty space, and the more ethereal rendition of the Area Zero theme is pretty cool. I was legitimately surprised to see Carbink down here. I knew Carbink got added to the game in September (and that it's based on diamond formations), but I wasn't expecting them here.

This theme gives me the sensation that I reached a place that no mortal was meant to be in, even so the feeling of exploring a new place is exciting

Man I always loved the area zero theme but then as soon I got here I was interested in the area until I realized wait THEY REMIXED THE AREA ZERO THEME then I just couldn't stop talking about how good this sounds that I literally sang along with it this is so good 🥹

Since with the Pecharunt event, imagine getting a word from idk...Briar or Geeta saying theres an abnormal levels of tera energy below the depths and asked you to investigate, within the shining crystal tree, you encounter either....A Shiny Koraidon or Shiny Miraidon! With them being like a tera raid with shielding up their entire health bar I wanted to give the crystal tree more of a purpose, that was a cool scenary NOT to give it some importance aside from a stellar tera minecaft golem.

Loving the League of Maidens opening intergration style

Just finished this now and wow what a journey. It gave me flashbacks of playing Final Fantasy 12 in the Great Crystal for the first time when it originally came out.

This place and Terapagos kind of remind me of Xeno'Jiva from Monster Hunter World. A cavern filled with crystals and a sleeping baby absorbing so much power that it become a newborn god that barely know how to control it's power.

It’s a gorgeous place, but I do wish we had more to do down there…

It has a tower of god feel to it

So I came to a realization when listening to this again last night: This part of Area Zero in particular could conceivably be based(At least in part) on the Cave of the Crystals in Naica, Chihuahua, Mexico. I mean, think about it. Not only would it be more than appropriate for Terapagos to be in a location based on that, but not long after you get there, one of your companions off-handedly mentions how it’s kinda difficult to breathe down there…Just like it is in the Cave of the Crystals(Which is also so warm that it can be deadly if one isn’t adequately prepared). Like, we would not have lasted long down there if it weren’t for our Raidon and seemingly the will of goddamn Arceus protecting us.

Havent played a Pokémon game since SuMo and havent been really into pokemon since BW2 but this song slaps Golden City MIA vibes

i took an hour long nap to this it is radical

area zero felt like the complete unknown, like humans weren't suppose to set foot on this land. sure, the paradox pokemon running around were new and threatening, but it wasn't anything you couldn't handle or just understand by thinking ''hey, that looks like a more beastly version of amoongus'' or something. the underdepths, however, feels truly threatening in the way that the chorus is much more loud this time around, and the power of all types being harnessed into the stellar tera type wasn't something you could really prepare for, and terastallizing your pokemon, which was usually your trump card, gets you hit with supereffective damage against stellar terastallized pokemon. really wish terapagos's theme felt something like this, more threatening and, you know, *legendary.*

I think this isn’t the deepest of the area zero depths we’re in. We can fall further but we get spawned back to where we were originally.

This theme was sort of wasted on the Underdepths. I was hoping it would be larger and more sprawling than the original Area Zero. The only Pokemon of note other than the Tera Stellar mini-bosses were some Carbinks in one of the earlier chambers.

I think it is a bit better than the Area Zero "standard" ost. The standard version is a bit to much. It is really impressive, it punches you in the face the first you arrive in the area, but became a bit repetive and annoying the more you spent time in there. The underdepths theme is more mystical and less epic. It is less powerful, but still captivating, without shuffling your senses (i don't know if that makes sens).

Area Zero just feels like it was based on Dante's Inferno/ The Divine Comedy Each area of area zero feels like its based off a circle of hell And this feels like the 9th circle Where the one who caused it all is locked deep within.

Imagine coming face to face with a power you could never understand. That's how this track feels.

Exploring the environments surely gives vibes towards references to Final Fantasy and Xenoblade Chronicles.

Did y’all read the journal entry the professor wrote about appearing on a mountain top smelled like sulfur and was given a white volume? They refer to a post game cutscene where they meet you at the crystal pool and were given briars book (white volume) 😭😭 we are the reason miraidon is named miraidon

Beautiful yet errie theme. It's like this place is beautiful because of the many crystals yet at the same time it feels like we were never meant to discover here

My jaw dropped when I made it there. If I had a nickel for each time an area in the same Pokemon game made my jaw drop, I'd have 2 nickels.

You hear the chorus clearly "And may your happiness come and come again, in harmony" as a bell.

Area Zero felt like a mysterious and ominous place..but this is even more mystical as if you werent supposed to reach here

If these people aren’t careful, these crystals will continue to grow and engulf the entire region. Makes you wonder how deep and far these things spread and how frequently they pop up in the overworld and infect wild Pokemon. I don’t think people are taking this threat seriously.
