@@Dialga22239 id say they're both pretty good I actually enjoyed how hop was handled in swsh But I do enjoy how hop and Kieran reflect each other in realistic ways, with hop having the healthy outcome while Kieran has the unhealthy outcome

@@adamtheriault6743this is it, Kieran’s nore hop’s story’s were handled “better,” than the other. They were two sides of the same coin in a way. hop realising he’s not fit to be a champion but finding his own goal and own way to he strong but kieran became obsessed with getting stronger and nothing wanted more than to beat us and get ogerpon as his own partner.

I noticed that the starter he picked for the team is Incineroar. This is obviously a parallel of himself since it goes from a small, weepy and shy cat to a large, intimidating, hyper-competitive wrestler. But if you can remember back around the time they were still publishing lore for Sun and Moon, Gamefreak said that Incineroar's "heel" personality is all an act and that it really just wants people's love and adoration more than anything else. I don't know if that was the intention when they put Incineroar on his team but it's very interesting nonetheless.

also, it's literally the best support vgc mon, you see it everywhere because of intimidate, its bulk, parting shot, fake out, knock off and of course still hitting hard with flare blitz. It also has quite a solid defensive typing, resisting a lot of stuff and being immune to psychic

The guitars in S/V's OST were overall heavenly. The guitar solos in Kieran and the Team Star captains were insane, while the Spanish guitar in Geeta's had no business being too damn sexy for a Pokemon game.

The Kieran champ battle actully came dwon to the wire for me, I had really bad sitama syndrome in sv after a got my team all to 100 and hyper trained, so I put together a shiny team + my pla starter that I transferred over, and I actully had a lot of fun with the battle and his ace looks so cool. So props to Keiran for making me enjoy battling agian.

I just realised something, Kieran is the EXACT OPPOSITE of Nemona when you think about it. Nemona didn't have any goals left after becoming champion rank and strong, while Kieran had one and only goal of meeting Ogerpon but because he wasn't strong enough he couldn't do it. Nemona wanted us to get strong and have an all out battle, while Kieran couldn't accept that we were stronger and pushed himself to be strong.

I’ve never wanted to run from a trainer battle until fighting Kieran in Indigo Disk. Like with the team he had, I’m honestly surprised he didn’t have a 7th Pokémon with him. Also I sent out Ogrepon during this battle, and after seeing the dialogue that came with it, I was beginning to think he was gonna say ‘screw the battle’ and start throwing hands.

The final match up in my battle ended up being his Hydrapple, Incineroar and Grimsnarl vs Meowscarada and Ogrepon on my side. Once I sent Ogrepon out he of course freaked out. Meowscarada took out Incineroar and then he brought out his ace Hyrdrapple. But then his Grimsnarl and Hydrapple attacked my Meowscarada (I like to imagine she jumped in front of Ogrepon and saved her from being hit by the attack) and she was taken out leaving me with just Ogrepon to face his two remaining Pokémon. She first took down his Grimsnarl and then on the next turn I Tera’d and took out his Hydrapple.

His reaction to my Ogerpon was very fitting. I swapped in Ogerpon to take advantage of the rain and beat up his Incineroar. It was a safe switch in because his Porygon-Z was recharging from a Hyper Beam. He got pissed about it. Before Ogerpon could even move on the next turn, Kieran commanded his Porygon-Z to use Hyper Beam and it one-shot Ogerpon. …. Again very fitting and in character for him. I think that’ll come out as my favorite interaction in a battle.

He only managed to get my vanguard(Scizor) to critical health. I flipped his rain set up on him by bringing out Koraidon and sweept the rest of his team. Still, I was expecting him to keep using Grass and Bug types, glad that wasn't the case.

@@Dialga22239Sounds more like Singa to me, especially the guitar. The guitar sounds exactly like the one Mitsuo Singa uses, and the guitar parts of this track heavily remind me of Proud Grudge, Blue Stardust, and Be Prepared. The strings and violin sound more like Jindo, Mizutani, or Ito. I know it's likely not any of the ones I mentioned, but this track definitely reminds me of something that would be in a Trails game

And I had to go all out against him too. (Used a competitve doubles team). I would not have won with my in game team. Yeah. This game's difficut does NOT CATER to casuals. You go in this like a scrub your getting clapped.
