Ok, no joke, being able to Spin Dash in the air is genuinely a really cool mechanic; slowing your descent and gaining that same burst of speed but in the air looks so satisfying. It's like a suped up Drop Dash from Mania. That's something I'd honestly love to see that in a official/fan game or rom hack.

THAT MOMENT WHEN THIS HAS A CHAO GARDEN, If only it did more though, they should update it with a shop where you can spend rings. Other than that For the emeralds I learned they spawn pretty randomly.. I believe sometimes restarting the game is required for new emeralds to spawn since twice I spent a few hours and couldn't find any, restarted the game and they were there. Here's a quick guide where they spawn, since it would have been tedious to show in the video. Green Hill - Check the dirt walls, one is near a dragonfly, one by spikes. Chemical Plant - Just keep checking every eggman symboled door. Sky Sanctuary - One is where there's a hole, like 8:10, and the other one should be near a fountain. but there'll be a spring that shoots you up. Last one you need to beat Eggman Mode. Other than that I really enjoy each character's moves. Sonic spindash in air feels weird and good at the same time. xD

All Knuckles needs is his climbing ability, maybe someone could add it? (I thought that it would have been easier than adding spindash because it could've copied some code from vine climbing, but I guess I'm wrong.)

i really do enjoy how Amy plays in this... i hope that EVERYONE can take a note of this and make Amy a great Playable character. the idea of throwing herself forward due to the hammer give her a very fun looking movement pattern.

I play Bedrock when I build something or when wanting to play any new DLC’s. The Pac-Man, Ben 10, and Sonic DLC’s are immaculate. Otherwise I do everything else on Java 👌😎 lmao

Same here lol, not a fan of bedrock at all, Minecraft gameay just feels a lot smoother in java imo, but the dlc is very cool, i'd like to have it.

Because actual effort was put into it. It may have reused levels but it feels much more fresh.

Personally, I didn't think Forces was that bad, but it was very cheesy and the music was terrible and it was too short, I haven't played the game in forever, but I know Orlando Bloom played the villain, whom I thought was a pretty lit Sonic villain. I also like that they brought back Zavok. If you would like to see a better series with a similar but better plot I reccomend you read the Sonic the Hedgehog comics from 2018. Sonic Forces was bad, but it wasn't that bad where we have to shame it to hell.

Honestly, It would be amazing to see this expanded and becoming bigger then this. Like featuring the whole entire Sonic cast from every game be playable and more levels. This could be something amazing!

Shadow's moveset looks more like they originally planned for it to be Silver, but at the last second Marketing got a hold of it and said "This won't sell unless you include Shadow".

Actually, in Shadow the Hedgehog, Shadow could fly using Chaos Control through the hero gauge, so this mechanic isn’t too far left-field.

The feature I liked the most is being able to Spin Dash mid-air, not only it allows efficient speedruns, it's also useful to save yourself from traps

We really got an official Sonic Minecraft Chao Garden before a mobile Chao Garden or any larger Sonic game having it like Adventure 2... I have to commend them for doing it still even if it is set dressing.

I feel like my PC would have a meltdown trying to play this, even though it can run Minecraft just fine. I've seen footage of the Switch version and it struggles to load the stage as the character runs along it, which means it's easy to run into hazards. Nice to see the Chao Garden again, though it's a shame that there doesn't seem to be much that you can do there. As much as I like what they've done with this DLC, I would've liked an open world more. Like maybe just letting Sonic explore South Island as a whole (So Sonic 1+2 stages), with the biomes being the zones. Then maybe needing to find all the emeralds, hidden in several zones at random, before you can enter the final zone and battle Eggman. But keep the way the characters play mostly the same, I think the speed and the height they gain would work nicely. I wouldn't mind a second DLC in the future Sega!

don't worry, the switch version is just a little fricked up, My MSI laptop runs the dlc just fine, so a PC can do, it's really fun but also weird because minecraft, If you have the bedrock version of minecraft you can buy it if you want

As a switch player, it really is horrible You should never run, game freezes (if there are enemies nearby you basically just died), and rendering is always forcing you to go slow

While watching, I accumulated many questions: why Tails flies under water if he should swim, why Super Sonic does not spend rings, but then I thought about it and realized that this was done in MINCRAFT and this fact alone should be surprising.

Okay Sonic Team, take notes on what happened here. Sonic "and other characters" playstyles are unique Branching paths in one level While it wasn't great here, we do need a return of special stages. These are missing elements in a 3D Sonic game.
