The way this was my EXACT reaction! This show means so much to me, and was seriously life saving as a kid. An amazing message for anyone who is demonized or made to feel lesser for just being who they are. The casting is perfect top to bottom. So glad to see the way you care for this show in ways I have as well.

I've waited over 20 years for something you said in your reaction to come true. "People are going to feel so 'Seen'. When more people in the world understand why a black woman such as yourself has this sort of reaction to a movie trailer, maybe at that point we can begin to truly move forward. And to have a black woman in the role of Elphaba. This is going to be amazing ! I'm a middle aged gay white guy. I hope the feelings associated with identifying with that part of all of this are as amazing as I think they would be. xoxoxo I keep telling people today, I will never get through this movie without crying. I was like 12/13 when i heard it the first time. i was in LOVE with it. i was bullied and such in school and felt like i was "different" than kids around me . so when i saw the show and saw what was done to her i cried. and seeing it again brought back those feelings. your reaction made me want to give you a hug and cry with you!!!
