Hey guys, Roma fan here (I know, booooo 😂)....He's a great manager and literally trained with De Rossi (DDR) at the same time. Both up and coming great managers. Thursday was rough for you guys and I understand. The battering we have had through the years haunt me. (Follower since 1998). What I love about Brighton is the passion, not only the players but the fans. You're a family like us Romans and we love that. All the best at the Amex on Thursday, whatever happens, we love and respect you. Daje, Forza Roma!

Thank you for your kind words. I watched your match vs Torino and knew we had a big test ahead ! I think Dybala is exceptional. However, it is sad for us fans to have the honour of playing a great club like Roma but with our entire preferred front 3 (Mitoma,Joao Pedro & Solly March) unavailable, along with many other really good young players unfit & coming back off long-term injuries. This has plagued us for most of the season but I say it as a fact, not an excuse. The team we fielded was strong enough, on paper, to provide a strong test but this match was just a step too far for us in this moment. I look forward to your visit to our family-friendly Amex Stadium where we can hopefully give a better account of ourselves and at least take this experience into our future development.

Maybe someone can clarify something here for me...they didn't play well with Forest but managed to win the game because Forest sucks and they were at home...pretty hard to lose. I still don't seem them playing better and it seemed like something happened after their hot streak at the beginning of the season...would be valuable to uncover what that is. Mitoma and Ferguson who were playing well just started tanking (and yes Mitoma has been injured but it seems like he lost his passion before that). I noticed the new salary he signed was low relative to the quality of player he is (and other players in the league and not sure why)...if he knew he was only playing to be traded..just seems like Brighton have lost their spirit and passion they had last year...maybe there is a futility of knowing that anything you build and develop will be cannibalized with teams and owners with more money...perhaps Brighton needs to reinvent itself again...start investing in quality players who will stick around who you can develop over many seasons versus just trade away (because you are just working to develop other teams...just look at MacAllistair against Man City this weekend...one of Liverpool's best players right now)...I won't mention Chelsea because their ownership and culture is toxic and a player's graveyard...but other teams seem to do well with players from Brighton

Yeah, we've missed Caicedo. But RDZ was doing great things at other clubs before he managed here. Personally I think Mac Alister was the bigger miss.

I’m sorry but I’m getting fed up with the whole “players can’t play more than once a week”…….theyre professional football players!! They train every day and I’m sure they are capable of more than 90 mins a week! What have all other teams in Europe done for the last 30 years? Ansu fati is world class and only ever comes on for 30 mins. Enciso CAN play tomorrow lol it’s stupid

You clearly do not understand how fitness work, most of these player should be in rehabilitation but they are forced to play games due to Brighton injury crisis and you have to manage their minutes or you have an endless cycle of injury.

@@artthoutimelapse7700 Mancity had arguably the best defense in eruope alongside inter last season, you guys have van heck , Dunk and Igor, no disrespect to those players but never compare them to that Mancity defense. Most of your conceded goals have come from individual mistakes and the only way to fix them is to get better players. I am no Brighton fan but this is the best these set of players can get you. Pedro has been doing a lot of hard carry before the injury, you guys also lost mitoma to injuries, sold both caicedo and Mac plus I don't think baleba could replicate what caicedo did for you guys.

Not comparing the teams at all, and haven’t in any of these comments lol what I mean is they are all professionals at the peak of male fitness. Saying they can’t play more than 90 mins a week is ridiculous when they are paid astronomical amounts of money to do just that. I was just using Man City as an example of all teams who have had domestic and international games, and managed to handle it without using the “we’re tired” excuse every time they lose
