I disagree. I think he seems more like an adult in this version. He looks older, and he sounds more mature. I think the Broadway one was more like a teenager than him. He's still an amazing actor and singer though!

Just Peachy yeah I can see where you're coming from. I agree that he looks more mature! But it's his mannerisms that capture JD's youth so well - he looks slightly awkward, almost sheepish at times as if he's being scolded.

He's absolutely incredible! I went to the show last Friday and you really see him develop throughout the show right up to The scene where he's coming in through her window - people in the audience were actually flinching from him when he made eye contact.

I felt that too when I found out Carrie was playing Veronica, I’m quite curvy and it gave me a boost of confidence as I work in musical theatre that Carrie was playing a character wich previously had been played by very skinny people

When Broadway shows transfer to the West End or West End shows transfer to Broadway, they get different choreographers who do their interpretation on the song - they're not trying to copy it as that wouldn't give the show its own colours. The show is NOT meant to be a copy of the Off-Broadway production. I didn't think they sounded out of breath either - some stars literally workout on bikes whilst singing to train and help with breathing.
