Yeah, but look at the work done to the engine, pistons rods ported head, cams, turbo manifold and nitrous. The EP3 has a factory engine with a Turbo slapped onto it xD

@@joshjamesguitar it's got nothing to with that fact, the EP3 doesn't need those supporting mods as it already has VVTI, factory forged rotating mass and good head flow, those upgrades bring it up to par what I'm talking about is acceleration whoch is to do wirth having longer gears and way more torque to chew threw those gears, speed is engine speed x gear ratio, acceleration is torque / gear length, that's how the EP is lighter but the diesel out accelerates it, so many people forget the important of gearing and power bands that EP probably hits 500bhp right at the end of its curve where that diesel is hitting twice the torque at 2k, that's about as Layman as I can explain it I hope it makes sense and remember "power sells cars but torque wins races"....👍👌👍

@@EZ-D-FIANT k20a2 has cast pistons and rods, at an 11:1 compression ratio. Was never designed to be turbo so you can't complain about it having VVTI. And how are you gonna class a stock K20 as having upgrades? Up to par would be forged internals lower comp pistons, cams, and nitrous. But then it wouldn't be up to par, it'd be a 700+ engine easily. One of the reasons why the powerband is so short is because they're using a big turbo at low boost probably around 1.4bar limiting torque. Because the rods won't handle a huge torque surge and around 450nm is the limit on standard rods.

@@joshjamesguitar Your completely missing the point I don't and never gave a frail about the builds its irrelevant the speed difference is a consequence of torque times gear length that has been my only point you created an argument I wasn't having just to win it, no wonder your being so intellectually dishonest I should have seen this coming tbf! Now lets talk about those "cast" pistons and rods, do have any idea how good the foundery work is by comparison, how many stock cast rotating masses can do what that Honda stuff can, very few, that stuff is tough as ummm, I dunno, forged maybe, have you seen the size of those rods/pins, the added oil squirters and advanced mapping/knock control and all that, your pedantic attitude is clearly a result of Dunning-Kruger and because of that your not being objective, the Honda doesn't have that work because it doesn't need it and oh yea and VVTI kicks the balls out of a cam when tuning (I dont think your a builder or tuner though so expect you to know everything about that too 🤡), the diesel is going faster then the petrol not because of the engine internals (they both have the same power remember) but because of torque x gear length, it's really very simple but I fear you might be too.....

@@RubenFFR for how many runs? You can street, daily a 450hp k20 or k24 for years (luck involved obviously) and not touch the gearbox. Clutch, turbo kit, tune, go.

@@bringttb7592 how many runs i dont know, but i know some of them they use as a daily, do some runs and run perfectly The thing is, you can't do lot of kms full throttle because you can blow the turbo or something like that 🤣 but any turbo car modified you can't do long distance on full throttle because turbo will delivery his soul xD

Have I missed something, 1st place on the quarter mile fwd leaderboard states 13.36 and second place 12.42, I'm guessing that 1st place is actually 12.36 and its a typo, as always though jamie TOP content, can't beat a turbo honda on the channel ❤

The way the driver was leaning forward in the SEAT it was transferring his bodyweight to the front of the car, therefore he was getting better traction on the front wheels. It’s the same effect the engine on the rear of a Porsche benefits traction.

For me this speaks volumes. Soon as I seen the video I knew the seat would break. I’m not a hater sick car. But the k20 will pull all day everyday. Reliability with performance is key in my opinion. K20 reliability is just unmatched 😎

Don’t worry Honda boys, the K series and even B series still hold all the records for 1/4 mile. This race just showed too well matched cars race. There ain’t a PD in this world that could touch some of the real beasts out there 🙂

Diesel is definitely faster, but the K2O is running stock Engine and still lasted longer than the PD 😂

Needing to run nitrous everytime will be an issue. They should have just ran them without it so thats its truly petrol vs diesel. You can see it pull away when the nitrous kicks in. Its like a cheat code lol

Bro don't cry more, that 500 is with nitrous!! And only stage 1. With out is 370-400 whp approx. The k is 500 all time so is a fear winf for diesel for having less range of power. Go to church and cry there

People still take piss out of honda yet still proves reliability! I had a 130pd Bora with nitrous. Sure was fun but blew the head gasket using 200hp jets😅

Stock engine Ep3 turbo vs everything you can do to a PD😂 3+ bar, nitrous and half of Portugals PD magic probably. It just shows how fast Hondas are for the price and tuning level.

@9:26 lol at the bike times. The 400hp stretched bike is only 0.04s faster than a 225hp stretched bike and then the 334hp h2r is another 0.12 slower. That's pretty funny. (I know it's about putting the power down) 15:36 the 1st 1/4 mile time is described as 13.36 instead of 12. Great video anyway! Loved it. I think the Seat's torque made it pull so hard.
