Yeah, but look at the work done to the engine, pistons rods ported head, cams, turbo manifold and nitrous. The EP3 has a factory engine with a Turbo slapped onto it xD

@@joshjamesguitar it's got nothing to with that fact, the EP3 doesn't need those supporting mods as it already has VVTI, factory forged rotating mass and good head flow, those upgrades bring it up to par what I'm talking about is acceleration whoch is to do wirth having longer gears and way more torque to chew threw those gears, speed is engine speed x gear ratio, acceleration is torque / gear length, that's how the EP is lighter but the diesel out accelerates it, so many people forget the important of gearing and power bands that EP probably hits 500bhp right at the end of its curve where that diesel is hitting twice the torque at 2k, that's about as Layman as I can explain it I hope it makes sense and remember "power sells cars but torque wins races"....👍👌👍

@@EZ-D-FIANT k20a2 has cast pistons and rods, at an 11:1 compression ratio. Was never designed to be turbo so you can't complain about it having VVTI. And how are you gonna class a stock K20 as having upgrades? Up to par would be forged internals lower comp pistons, cams, and nitrous. But then it wouldn't be up to par, it'd be a 700+ engine easily. One of the reasons why the powerband is so short is because they're using a big turbo at low boost probably around 1.4bar limiting torque. Because the rods won't handle a huge torque surge and around 450nm is the limit on standard rods.

Now lets talk about those "cast" pistons and rods, do have any idea how good the foundery work is by comparison, how many stock cast rotating masses can do what that Honda stuff can, very few, that stuff is tough as ummm, I dunno, forged maybe, have you seen the size of those rods/pins, the added oil squirters and advanced mapping/knock control and all that, your pedantic attitude is clearly a result of Dunning-Kruger and because of that your not being objective, the Honda doesn't have that work because it doesn't need it and oh yea and VVTI kicks the balls out of a cam when tuning (I dont think your a builder or tuner though so expect you to know everything about that too 🤡), the diesel is going faster then the petrol not because of the engine internals (they both have the same power remember) but because of torque x gear length, it's really very simple but I fear you might be too.....

The way the driver was leaning forward in the SEAT it was transferring his bodyweight to the front of the car, therefore he was getting better traction on the front wheels. It’s the same effect the engine on the rear of a Porsche benefits traction.

@9:26 lol at the bike times. The 400hp stretched bike is only 0.04s faster than a 225hp stretched bike and then the 334hp h2r is another 0.12 slower. That's pretty funny. (I know it's about putting the power down) 15:36 the 1st 1/4 mile time is described as 13.36 instead of 12. Great video anyway! Loved it. I think the Seat's torque made it pull so hard.
