What the fuck is wrong with you people? This song is NOOOOTHIIIIIING like any of those artists (not saying Extreme as a band, just *this* song). It's like an overproduced beachy pop country song but instead of a guy with a southern accent, it's Gary Cherone. The world's most generic chord progression (I-V-vi-IV), nothing interesting going on instrumentally except the solo, and mind-blowingly cheesy and cringy lyrical content (and a video to match the cheese/cringe). Imagine if Nickelback put out this exact song but instead of Gary singing it was Chad Kroeger and instead of a Nuno solo it was something less technical...you people would be chomping at the bit to tear it apart, and for good reason!! Because this shit's TERRIBLE!!!

Of course, Nuno is a legend. But I wish the solo would have been longer. It's my favorite part of the song and just when it's about to take off it stops.

I live on the beach, Madeira Beach native, Tampa Bay Fl, I couldn't agree more. Would have been great if it was really outside. And maybe lyric change to "all around the world, ALL are beautiful girls"

@mfergel , I had the same wish and was a little dissapoonted to see it with a fake beach background. And that bit with Nuno and the girls surfing looks really weird. I would not send them to the real sea waves but it’s just odd. 😊

It's utter trash... Like a parody song..

@@richardfisher8460 Pat said it was geared toward the younger crowd. It sounds like something from a modern Disney flick. Extreme albums have always showcased their penchant for diversity, but never with a song that took as little effort to write as this one. I guess I shouldn't begrudge older bands that can get a 12-year-old girl to buy their new record.

@@philliptaylor5229 I think a group of 50+ year old rockers releasing this absolute tosh have had some poor advice from their record company.. it's an embarrassment.. absolutely pathetic song, Extreme are in places and excellent band, they have always had the odd duff tune on an album but this is a disgrace of a song.. this won't be bought by anyone let alone the younger generation

@@richardfisher8460 They finished the album a couple of years before their new indie label picked it up, so the song definitely wasn't at the label's behest. It's more in line with Nuno's projects outside of Extreme, only with the cringe factor turned up to 11. There's an interview with Pat where the interviewer said he played the song for his daughter, telling her it was from a new pop band. She loved the song and wanted to see a picture of the band; when she saw Extreme she knew she'd been had. Attach Taylor Swift's name to a song like this and it'd be an instant hit. I have no doubt that Nuno had aspirations of appealing to that crowd with this song.

It's just them experimenting as usual. This is the only song of its ilk on the album.

it’s Extreme, don’t expect the same style for every song👀 Nuno said they meant to have that beach 60s vibe they grew up in, and it does!
