I remember being so damn sad when BET stopped playing this video. Rap and mainstream R&B weren't really my thing, so when I heard music like this at night on BET, it felt like there was something for me. This is the music I remember helping me through some bad points in my teen years

Sorry that Angel and this song never took off more than it did. At the time I received her CD from a friend who worked for Universal Records. He said a bunch of people at the label referred to her as "Little Janet" and the parallels are obvious. When I first heard the song I thought it was a surefire hit.
