What does underrated mean? People rate him as a Top 10 player who occasionally wins minor events to top up his ranking money, which is what he is. Do you think people should rate him as an elite player, when plainly he isn't?

He Won last Saturdays Players Championship event. Lost on Sunday with a 110!!!! AVG to dobey. Now finally won a ET Title. But yes, his darts are terrible.

I think Price and The Ferret are unbeatable in the world cup. Especially if Johnny is on form. Price is at his peak and if the Ferret in form they'll whitewash the final.

@@aidendean3531 Maybe you didn't hear about his person. He's one of the fairest players in the history of darts. Never angry about others and always a true sportsman. In my beginning of watching darts, I didn't like him that much, but by following him and his style I began to respect that man as he respects others.

@@aidendean3531 Rob is indeed one of the most liked players. Always have good words for his opponent. And watch how he acted when he was on top. How he gave Taylor a last goodbye was amazing. Or the words he had for Gurney after his amazing comeback at the Matchplay. But yes, is not likeable.

I was watching some old darts matches, when Lowe , Bristow, Wilson, and so on. They got a 180 once or twice, and they were like Gods, but i don't think they would have lived with these kids today, they hit 140's and 180's ,like i have never seen in my life, 180's are boring now because they hit so many ,when they used to be so special , you would have thought they had won the match when they hit a 180 in the old days. Are the doubles and trebles bigger now ,i don't know ,that is the only thing i can thing of, that makes the 180's easier to hit. In the old days, i will never forget John Lowe hitting a 9 darter against Keith Deller, and that was special ,because it was very few and for between, But today they are hitting more and more 9 darters.

Better technology on boards and darts have helped this. Its made it more entertaining for the fans. A lot of players back then had moments just like we see today on the old thick wired dartboard with darts that were thicker ..just not as common

Not only is it a pain to watch Luke whine and complain, but he slows the play of the game, likely disrupting his opponent's rhythm. I for one am happy to see Rob maintain that England position.

Yeah agree. It's frustrating. My tip is to expect the highlights around 2330 and to squint when selecting. It's what I do for all the big horse races I miss live.

Well what a rollercoaster of a final session, massive spoilers ahead: As a German I was rooting for Schindi, but once again, he knocks out a big one and after that misses too much opportunities. His big day will come, really cool to see him play! Gian van Veen is extraordinarily great and I am very happy for him to nearly break Humphries. The ending of the aspinall match was certainly INSANITY. Or as Wayne Mardle would say: "I can't spake." And then the dream final, dramaturgy at its finest and Humphries gets as far and needs one more win and can't close it. I actually like Cross, but I feel sorry for all of Humphries efforts. But as an Darts enthusiast, the road to the England World Cup Team was great entertainment. What an evening. Sindelfingen World Metropole!

We are not. But very few people like him and seeing his smug face on our screens for a very long time makes us want to stop watching darts, which would be a serious loss to most of us.

Cross yes humphries no. The prem looks at personality in the top players. Being ranked slightly higher dont mean much to the Premier league organisers. In my opinion it should be top 8 but I get why it isn't always that way

@@ivanpickering7979 The PL is an exhibition in all but name, they have the right to pick the ones who they think will sell more tickets and get more sponsors. I accept there isn't a massive amount of difference between the PL viewing if Cullen plays instead of DVDB but the PDC plainly know what they are doing, I trust them, and if those players who missed out have any objection, they can get in the Top 4 (or smile more). Every other major tournament goes on the OOM so they have plenty of chance round the year.

@@croscoloser Nobody genuinely hates him, it is an intense sporting preference, which people use strong language to describe. But he is an odd-looking individual whose face fills your screen with stuck-up vibes and smugness and it's actually uncomfortable to look at, which is why him losing in early rounds makes the rest of the tournament more watchable. We know he is a nice guy, but then so was Gandhi and I don't think people would want his face taking up most of the screen when they are trying to enjoy a good sport either. Anyway, Gandhi didn't grin like a naughty boy every time he was on for a check out and didn't precede everything he ever said with the words, 'in fairness'.

I liked it when the PDA showed whole matches and not just highlights. Barely worth watching nowadays. Thumbs down to them. What's next, just showing the closing shot in a KZfaq Short? FFS
