This was the best event I have seen in years.

Great to see Wade playing well again, with 3 ton plus averages in 5 matches. Too bad his finishing fell off in the semi-final. It's tough to lose with a 109.12 average. Still, if he can keep this up, he should easily be back in the Top 10 by year end.

Dirk has to feel like he should've walked home with the trophy tonight. He was lucky to win the leg after his tops-tops fiasco, but wasting three match darts on D8 and then two at tops sealed his fate. Can't miss 5 straight match darts against Humphries

When DVD is on, his matches are ALWAYS barn burners 🔥

The pressure must be amazing. Most of us "wannabe's" can hit D10 or D20 every second day of the week. But watching DVD and Cool Hand miss those doubles was mind-blowing!!! So I say again, the pressure must be absolutely phenomenal. The quality of the PDC players has got to be the best ever. Gone are the days of seeing the "Power" win everything week after week. You just can't pick a winner now and that has made it a brilliant spectator sport (for those of us that just love seeing a good "throwing the arrers" match)

Dirk let himself down badly, pushed Luke away when he went over to him after the game ,really bad loser came across as a nasty piece of work. At the end of the day he missed ,what did he want Luke to hand it to him? I was wanting Dirk to win but ill not be backing him again ,owes Luke Humphries an apology. Doesn’t show you on this clip but i watched it on tv.

What I got most from this tournament is that Van Veen could potentially be the next big star player to hit the scene if he stays on this trajectory. His confidence and skill level is very high for someone so young.

I remember 2 years ago arguing with a you tuber on who would win the most titles between humphries and Roby John.

So annoying those cringy interviews Dan Dawson gives DVD when he wins a players champs, saying theirs "no reason you can't win big events!" "highest averages!" "most 180s!" And DVD basicallly spells it out that it doesn't matter if you don't have the bottle to win a big final. Maybe Dawson will finally see it now.

Great Tournament. I was pulling for Dirk, but very disappointed in his behavior in the loss. You lost, Dirk. It was tough, we get it, but you have to be a pro. I lost a bit towards Dirk after that match. How you hold yourself after a tough loss says a lot about the person. He still has a lot of growing up to do
