06년 당시 고2였는데 그 땐 노래가 좋다고만 해서 많이 들었었는데 30대 백수인 지금 '짓밟힐 수록 또 다시 일어나 잡초같이' 라는 가사에 눈물이 너무 나오네요... 후에 이 노래를 웃으며 듣는 날이 왔으면 좋겠어요 ㅠㅠ

To people who is not of a Korean origin or don't know much about the depth of the problem separating North and South Korea, this is a very powerful message, although similar messages have been in media one way or the other for years now. Respect for psy for making this video! I really do hope Korea does reunite one day, despite the differences and work to be one again on an equal ground. We are already a very small country, and to half that even further in many ways it is too sad. :'(

@@zita4002 'It's Art' is my favourite. The first time I heard it, I don't know what he is saying because I don't speak the Korean, only English and French. But the song - even when I could not understand the words - made me FEEL so much, like my heart would burst! So I use Google translate to find out the lyrics, and it is beautiful song.

I love that this song has some traditional Korean elements in it, especially the traditional Korean drums, string and wind instruments. I wish PSY would try including them in some of his other music.

They mostly shuffle the 100 most popular (American) songs from now and the last few decades and play them over and over and over and over again and again and again. That's the reason I don't listen to radio whenever I can avoid it, you go crazy with this monotony! But fortunately, German subcultures are very rich and diverse. I heard of him in 2001, when the censors in South Korea banned some of his music from radio. He's been writing and performing ever since except when he was drafted into the Army. It's been a long, hard road for him to get where he is today.

I applaud you, Psy. I think these songs before Gangnam Style are really wonderful, and you should have had a larger following from the beginning! But because of Gangnam Style, people see these wonderful videos. So, win-win. I think the North and South should be together again, and your video shows how much you care about your country, and, it shows me that you won't let the fame get to your head 100%. :)

I'm wonder why so many people are asking the meaning of the song, but I guess it may stem from cultural differences. In my point of view, the concept of the song is about "being one." As you can see through the video, the way PSY sings his song and the attitude of watching PSY's performance in each countries are very different even though the performed song in South and North Korea is same. However, it is obvious that people in South Korea and people in North Korea enjoy the song. They feel the same joy while listening the song although they have somehow different culture and philosophy etc., and this is the moment when people in two different country become "the one."
