Kid is having fun already. That's a good sign. Couple that with all the rumors of how high his work ethic is, and his hockey sense, and hopefully he'll be a solid guy for years to come.

Its good to see the chemistry being built between Yzerman's drafted players developing at the same time (and possibly joining the big club at the same time). I think that's part of why you want as much homegrown talent as you can, there's more time to build up a history of working together than if you acquired a bunch of good pieces from different places.

Exactly this! He’s creating a team organically, on and off the ice. This kind of development is how you get the players to work for EACH OTHER.

Draps' kid looks JUST LIKE HIM! Q: Why do so many NHLers use white tape? If I had a shot like that, I'd use black tape to fool goalies. On the other hand if I were a goalie I'd improve my rebound control by simply using black pads. You can't hit what you can't see.
