I was 15 years old as I heard Status Quo on the radio. It was amazing! Now I'm 50 and I still listen to Quo and they are still makin' records! Don't need more to say! Of course I miss Rick!

"Quid Pro Quo" is one of their best albums since Spud and Nuff left in the 80's. It is a powerful, throbbing and pulsating Rock album.

Though an American, I have great difficulty understanding why, with all the great-sounding chart toppers they generated in the UK and Europe, only one song of theirs ever charted in the States ("Pictures of Matchstick Men"- 1968). However, the Quo being masters of covers, took John Fogarty's original "Rocking All Over the World" and made it an even bigger hit when they opened up Live Aid 1985 from Wembley. The former Creedence Clearwater Revival front man had a hard time getting over that, for he was hoping to revive his career with that song. I guess he feels they stole his chance at reviving glory.

Rock n roll n Rick Parfitt....when he passed away, what remained of the "real Quo" went with him. Now its a Francis Rossi solo band paying tribute to Status Quo....they're my favourite band of all time, but its over. Sad
