Picture this: 38 degree heat, 2 kids, pregnant mumma digging a 6 Tonne Car & Van out of the hot sand just to get to a beautiful camping spot.
Okay... you don't have to picture this, just sit back and watch because we got it all on camera for you to enjoy haha ;)

here is a tip - put a high grade chain through and around your spare tire and bury you spare tire in the sand a good 3 or 4 feet deep and use it for a anchor point. its extra work but it works

Ha ha ha...that was me that predicted you would get Maxy bogged to the axles!! Never forget mate, its not a matter of the sand being too soft, its a matter of your tyre pressure being too high. Dont be scared to drop to 8-10 psi to get out of trouble. Another fantastic episode, loved the boys cooking segment and Elenya's restraint considering the constant fails!!

Huge effort team, I had a similar experience up the cape in a dry riverbed on the Stewart River 4 hrs later we were moving again 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ Love the little spoon 😂😂😂😂 Huge crock, great shots👍 Nick’s cooking session WTF, No he hasn’t got the looks for it 😉 Though they did look good Keep em coming team, love your adventures 🏆🏆

Hahah the joys 🫣🏕 Tyers looked bit hard guys . But hey we all been there misses and I got stuck 4hrs in mud track once becouse we tried finding a new spot to camp 😂 and I forgot my winch control haha fun times 🤙🏻🍻

It’s always a good idea until you get stuck hahah it’s all fun though. The tyres were 15psi on the van and back of Ute and 12 on the front 👍

We around 15 psi when we got bogged dont like going much lower than that other wise your at risk to blowing tyres off the bead etc 🤠thanks for watching.

Word on the grapevine was that it is being closed due to rubbish and campers camping too close to the cliff edge making it hard for insurance purposes however that is just word of mouth , not 100% sure. @@elnick.adventures it blows me away how so many people love there off road adventures and camping and don’t take there rubbish back with them and end up having places being closed and shutout to people who do the right thing 🙈, I used to go to Gunn Point camping but I haven’t been back for years after my last couple camping trips , there was rubbish and human shit and toilet paper everywhere, it was truely disgusting 🤮, I was actually waiting for you to comment on the condition of Gunn Point in your video but it must have been good where you camped. We look forward to your next video, you are so natural and not fake in your vids which I reckon is why youse have so many followers …👍

Yeah it’s such a shame - Gunn point at one end wasn’t the best and there was rubbish everywhere unfortunately but while we were there we did see many groups come out, have a fire on the beach and then leave. Easy for me to comment from the comfort of my lounge, but 10psi for the fourby and the van ‘may’ have made it easier.

Haha the tyres were at 15 psi on the van and the back of the car and the front a little lower we don’t like going much lower as the tyres belly out the same if not more when carrying so much weight especially as the van is a single axle, if you go too low with a lot of weight the risk of popping a tyre off the bead increases. Hey Craig I know I suppose we can’t win all the time 🤠 thanks for watching the tyres on van and back of the car we’re 15 I don’t like going to much lower than that just because of the weight on each tyre being a single axle van and the boat weight etc. Last thing we wanted was a popped bead hahah.🤠👍

@@elnick.adventures You been to penny, I tow my 5m tinny in there with 11 to 12psi in the 80 and boat trailer, I just drive in 3rd low range no worries makes a huge difference from 15 to 11 or 12psi

What tyre pressure were you running? In sand like that I run 13 psi.

The van and rear tyres were on 15psi and the front of the car were on 12 we don’t like going to low with all the weight on the tyres as the risk of rolling a tyre off the bead increases. Thanks for watching !🤠👍

Hey Tony. We have done a fair bit of beach driving with and without the van but defiantly best without our traction control. Our car is 5 year old now though so I do t know if the new cars have better systems or a sand setting. Best way to find out though is try both settings and see. Thanks for watching 👍🤠

@@elnick.adventures I driving a 2017 Toyota hilux and it brings TRC syst I towing a camping trailer and tinny on top of it and I really get confused how to use the trc. at beginning of our traveling I got into the wrong beach thinking it was Teewah and it was so soft and we end up bogged like you guys, it is very stressful we admire you can record your adventure, we thought we would stay there forever and after we managed to get out we realised didn't record the situation. We love your videos at some point we were in the same places, today we are in Carnavon going south in wa and planning to be back in Sydney by Christmas. You are a beautiful family enjoying life 💕 congratulations..

Maxtrax are far better for someone like me who has Arthritic hands because it is much easier to hold the Maxtrax because of their narrower profile.
