Experience a two-week expedition to the Balkans with us and Hyundai Terracan, which was full of adventure and breathtaking scenery. The goal of our trip was Albania and in this third part, which is a continuation of Montenegro you saw last time. We spend the night at the Bukumir lake, which is located at an altitude of 1650 meters.
After waking up in the morning from a freezing night, we set off along a path full of stones to the mountain lake Rikavačko, which is located at an altitude of 1388 meters. The road to the lake gives us perfect views of the beautiful countryside and mountain scenery. However, our Hyundai Terracan offroad vehicle proved to be ideal for this expedition and was able to overcome even the most difficult sections of the road.
The route of our trip mostly follows the Trans Euro Trail (TET), which is a favorite place for adventure lovers and off-road trips. After descending from the mountains, we arrive in the city of Podgorica, from where we continue to Albania.
In Albania, we will focus mainly on the north of the country, specifically we will visit a village in the Theth mountains, which is located at an altitude of 1,300 meters. Theth is known for its picturesque mountain villages and unique rock formations. Next, we head to Lake Skadar, which is the largest lake in the Balkans and is only 6 meters above sea level.
