I have the exact same hubs and ppl are having problems with them exploding when not greasing them. I filled them with grease and they are fine after 1years driving

They look like standard road tyres on it. If you had offroad tyres on this car would of got up with no problem at all. Excellent offroad once you put the right tyres on 👌🏻✌🏻

Yes, it is snow tires. They were on the car afterwards BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2. Capable tire.

Akurat sa mi dostal do ruky Terry 2.9 kde planujem cely palivovy system dat repasovat. Chcem sa opytat ako pomohol tento pridavny filter? Respektive ci pomohol pretoze uz nejaka doba presla tak sa opytam pretoze viem ze tento system je velice nachylny na nekvalitnu naftu. Vopred dakujem za info.

Já už mám palivový systém po repasu, teď to bude z hlavy zhruba 120 tisíc km co se to dělalo. Předfiltr tam je hlavně z důvodu, že auto jezdí více v cizině a mimo EU a nafta tam nesplňuje žádné EU normy. V Albánii auto jednou spadlo do nouzáku, ale bylo to při předjíždění kolony pod plným plynem a z výfuku se valilo dýmu, že jsem to nikdy neviděl. Po chcípnutí a nastartování motoru bylo vše OK. Předfiltr hodnotím rozhodně kladně. Není to záchrana, ale prevence.

The pressure hose in the accessory is 5 m length. As for the hose from the water supply to the cleaner, the total length depends. And also what is the pressure in the water supply system. I recommend a minimum of 1" inner hose diameter.

I don't use wheel spacers anymore, but in general, even without spacers, the hubs don't have exact centering centers. It is vibration free. The basis is, of course, to have balanced wheels. At speeds above 140 km/h, this car has enough vibrations 😀

Zdravím, prosím Vás, přední upevnění původního plastového krytu, jsou tam dva šrouby vedle tažných ok (kromě krytu na nich drží i spodní držáky ochraného rámu předního) které mají nahoře matici a samozřejmě se protáčí. Momentálně mě nenapadá, jak se k maticím dostat, kromě toho, že začnu sundávat celý nárazník (což snad jen kvůli oleji nemůže být nutné snad). Je tam nějaká finta, která mi uniká, jak ty šrouby povolit? Zespoda tam nevidím místo na cokoli, z vrchu tam je minimálně napravo čerpadlo posilovače. Nevím jestli byla matice původně přivařená a utrhla se nebo to tak má být, zdá se to jinak původní. Předem děkuji za odpověď.

Odpovím si sama, kdyby to někdo potřeboval- ano v originálu jsou tam přivařené matice, které povolily. Takže jediná varianta uřezat a potom pokud se tam dostanu svářečkou tak navařit nové.

The brand is probably the last thing that has an impact. The springs have the following parameters: total spring height, spring strength, material hardness, spring shape - progressive/classic. Finally, I currently have springs made of little thinner material but taller on my car. This makes it more comfortable and not so hard. Reinforced springs are only if the car is heavier (steel bumpers, additional tank, winch). Otherwise it will be inconvenient.

A fully charged battery and ideally a car in the garage. Or engine pre-heating. The Terracan does not have glow plugs. It has a heating spiral in intake.

When tightening wheels it is always best practice to finish this process with a hand torque wrench, and not with the impact wrench.

The video featured an introduction to an impact wrench. Now that's exactly what I'm doing. I tighten it lightly to power 1 with an impact wrench. And with a torque wrench to the desired torque, according to the nut/screw 80-130N.m.

I almost bought this (I think it was the same one, from Lidl) a couple of years ago, but I left it because it said on the box the speed was really bad. I calculated that it would've taken ~45min to empty 7.5L from the car I had then. 😅 But 4 litres in 2min is really good!!! I have to keep my eyes out for this again.

Just be careful, I pumped gear oil (for automatic transmission), which is quite thin and liquid. Compared to motor oil.

Chystám video o další úpravě. Podložky a zesílené pružiny, které jsou v tomto videu jsem po tripu do Albánie vyndal (pružiny byly více stlačené a zdvih nebyl takový jaký jsem si představoval). A pořídil jsem o trošku silnější pružiny než originální, ale znatelně delší. K tomu prodloužené tlumiče. Tak uvidíme jak si na jaře poradí na další cestě. Takže to nechám na zvážení, i podložky mají někdy smysl.

U originálního filtru je trochu problém 3 - vývodová konstrukce. Nyní tam mám filtr Delphi z Mercedes ML a ten má dva vývody a tak už přepad z čerpadla jede rovnou do nádrže a ne do origo filtru. Mám to pojmutý jako předfiltr, pokud se to dá opačně, asi je to taky možné, ale balonek na odvdušnění by se pak musel dát až k tomuto přídavnému filtru.

Hi I have a problem with my Terracan, no drive out of the transfer box to the front wheels. Drives perfect on the road. If I jack all 4 wheels off the ground and put the auto box into drive, the front prop shaft is stationary and no high, low range either! Any help really appreciated
