Brilliant mate, this answered my next question from your last video, thanks. It's a great addition to Elementor and no need to use Ele Custom Skin now. Can't wait for Elementor to add more of this kind of functionality we have to use third-party plugins for and hopefully, it'll result in fewer update conflicts.

I think if you want to use alternating layouts together with pagination you still need Ele Custom Skin. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I have not tried 3.8 yet, I guess you can do the same thing with just one loop grid widget and some CSS grid code with first a :first-child of nth-child selector. You already can create alternative templates with the regular posts widgets with just a few lines of CSS.

Many thanks, excellent work. I wanted to ask you today how Loop Builder allows you to place products and create a carousel of these elements with Loop Grid, however it is not possible to place the Image Flipping effect (by hovering the image changes to what you have as a gallery of this product in automatic form, it is important that it is from the product gallery and not from the media library), if you could help me with how to do it in some way I would be very grateful. Your help is very valuable, very grateful

i have done something similar but controlling the pagination of the whole loop is now a proble, it keeps writing page not found, how do i over come this.

Very good! Does it work with custom post types from JetEngine, though? I tried to create a Loop item that applies to a custom post, but I only see Posts, no Portfolio (my custom post) there.

I'm desperately trying to figure out if it's possible to create a category page with this? I've created a nice loop for my blog overview and would like to add this to my category/archive template. It shows all posts tho and in the query there is only the option to chose fixed categories, not dynamic ones. Or am I missing something?

I need to play around with the possibility of this. You could create your own carousel or set of buttons etc to show the categories rather than dynamic fields.

Did you activate Flexbox Container and Loop Builder in your Experiments? Go to Wordpress - Elementor - Settings - Experiments.

Any idea how to make the columns equal height when using a simple grid layout? I have buttons as CTA also at the bottom of the cards so these would need to stay in line also. I've seen some css for this somewhere but can't for the life of me remember where! cheers.

I don't get the yellow box and when I 'save template' I just get the spinning wheel of doom. So when I refresh Elementor to get rid of the spinning wheel, I left with a blue container box with the Loop Grid inside the box(and the loop grid has saved with a template name/number etc) and when I Post widgets, they just drop in below. Where am I going wrong because I have followed your previous video to the letter? TIA

@@websquadron Yep, Elementor & Pro 3.11.2 - tried creating it in templates and on a live page. Same results, blue box, add loop grid widget and get the 3 yellow boxes, then save, spinning save wheel which won't stop and have waited at least 5 minutes so refresh browser page, then I can see the template name created in Elementor editing box on left and also see it created in dashboard>templates in a separate window as well when I check, but the container is still blue and any additional post widgets (or any widgets for that matter) I add just sit 'below' the loop grid, like widgets normally do, just not inside the loop grid as you show after you save the template. ...I'm stumped, just wondered if you'd come across this or have any ideas before I trot off to Elementor support please? Thanks

Is there a way to differ design between even and odd posts? i.e. Posts 1, 3, 5 etc aligned left and posts 2,4,6 etc aligned right?

Good question. I am not sure of that, as offsetting would be pain. One way would be to create individual posts with offset, but it would be a pain.

@@websquadron If you want to make a full (all) posts list (like archive page) i.e. setting half left aligned and some right or some (1-3-5) having the image on the left and some (2-4-6) on the right can't be done with offsetting.

Yup, just show products in the Loop Grid.

I just added the Carousel widget - and I can see the setting for offset.
