I am a Manchester United, (fan since 1957) and Leeds were cheated that night. At the time I was disgusted but Beckenbauer was right Leeds were dirty for years and Revie was known for buying games. So perhaps poetic justice caught up?

Terry Yorath should have been sent off in the 3rd minute, it was a disgraceful tackle, really dirty so Leeds can whinge all the like but the ref robbed Bayern aswell, they should have been playing against 10 men for the whole game.

FIRST TACKLES WERE ALWAYS FREE, LISTEN TO TOMMY SMITH, EDDIE MCREADIE, EDDIE GRAY IT WAS ALWAYS THE CASE IN THOSE DAYS. YOU HAD TO COMMIT GBH, TO GET A YELLOW CARD.
