I found this and began to cry. the loss of Ofra Haza was more than just another talented pop star she stood for something something we should all stand for peace in the world God Bless her she was a gifted lady

I promise you Ofra that we will meet, that the parallel lines of the middle east will join, I can never repay you for all you taught me by your music except to do the only thing you would have wanted anybody to do, to believe in peace and never let go it and to fight for it, Promise you Ofra, I would never let go.

More Ofra, Charm me more, Let your voice go high to destroy more walls and wake those sleepy eyes to see the facts in the middle east.. Call those far people to the doors of heaven and teach them how to love each other, Live for millions of years with your songs and let every politician die with his lies about how hard peace is... Guide the lost ones in the deserts of our middle east to the oasis of safety and to eternal prosperity.

I am grateful that many of you come from a place of peace. I believe that is EXACTLY what Ofra Haza would have wanted. This is what she was trying to accomplish in her life. Please, let's honor her (and her beautiful music) by continuing a positive and peaceful journey.

It is a shame that some people have decided to come here & start bitching at each other. Ironic. Ofra Haza was a loving person. The only thing she hated was hate itself. We'd all be better people if we took a page out of HER book.

Here's the thing: She's beautiful and has the MOST beautiful voice. This is all that matters. Sometimes art is political. However, I don't think Ofra Haza wanted her music to be politically diffusing. As far as I've understood from her, she wanted her music to bring people together. In memory of the lovely Ofra Haza, let's put politics aside and just enjoy the lovely sound, okay?

What truly counts is this Beauty! The Bad of the Past - why do certain people still have this incredibly deep need to blame and shame and finger point who is the cause of this or that? Instead of looking into the mirror - and make peace with what is...accept what was and has been and move on to make it better??!! What truly matters is to remember at last the Goodness from the Past...like this Beauty! May you all wherever you are have a wonderful and peaceful weekend! Namaste!

dear, this is one of the best message I ve seen this week, I appreciate your idea and the fact that you like most of people want peace. Peace must become reality and not only nice words in songs. Yes israel suffered for long time for having neighbour countries that are not very inclined to peace and love. Each country would have the same impression like Israel if someone else menace it...

+herrgolf. I advocate a one-state Israel for the Israelites and Jews. It is a one state without segregation of minorities. The Palestinians don't want Israel to exist at all let alone a one state Israel.
@sarcenet45839 жыл бұрын
Just as you want a one state that is israel and despite the declaration of an independent palestinian state, don't ya? Now they all want peace, and israel has been the one and only state there for ages now, yet no peace was sensed. Why not give'em their own state? If they are the real troublemakers out there, they'll have their own land to screw and you'll have yours. How's that an unjust or unreasonable solution?
@gal20008 жыл бұрын
+Sarcenet No, they don't want a state - Israel offered them a state so many times. If they haven't made a state until now - they just don't want one They want us to be DEAD

Please people, let´s not forget who caused all these problems: The British colonial policy to gain support for their struggle against the Turks who occopied this land around the period the first World War. The territory of Palestine was promised to both Palestinians and Jews. And not to forget: The Shoah during the Second World War.

well iowoof, we all pray for good things in life, not only for peace. For love, for health, for a good job...otherwise life itself wouldn't have any real sense. Even animals fight for good purposes. The world and history of humanity show this. Israel? Im not a jew and Im not muslim, but I know history and for sure reading about modern history Israel has only defend itself. . It was attacked several times. and histirical writers say he wanted make peace . We hope we can achieve it. Peace, paix

The way she sings the high pitch tunes - and all notes for that matter - easily outdo Maria Carey at her best singing!!!!!! (who also is known for the total control over her voice with a large register....) If she could be compared to any singer, that must be Barbra Streisand, esp in the middle register-tones.... She is also a Jew, right? ed

Yes. Ofra Haza was indeed Jewish.
@iiyz13 жыл бұрын
@luxcretia2 The first victims of this "ringworm treament" were in fact ASHKENAZI JEWS. This treatment has also been done in Syria SO YES ARABS HAVE DONE IT TOO! Hundreds of thousands of people all around the world have been subjects of this and in Israel's case it was funded by American authorities & UNICEF! However the State of Israel is the one paying compensations to these people.There's no reason to blame entire Israel for the stuff that some sick team of doctors did.

Ofra haza is a nice singer may she RIP, she was one of the best voices in Middle East, but if you are who you say you are then you are a traitor and you should be ashamed of yourself.!There is no peace as long there is an occupation. You are blaming the victims whos land were taken from them by force, murder and aggression. The differences among Palestinians has got nothing to do with the conflict.I believe in peace too, but peace has to be based on justice, return of the land and refugees.
@luxcretia213 жыл бұрын
