For sure. Hodgy was the third best thing, that could’ve happened, from the OF era. But I totally get it. He had demons. The fame would’ve destroyed him. It’s awesome to see him and Earl realize it just wasn’t for them. They’ve turned their lives around for the better. Tyler was destined for the success he has now. He earned and deserves it, too. As for Everyone else... they had to take their own paths. It’s awesome to see. That’s just life.

gotta keep comin back to this one, the melody he hits during the chorus kinda reminds me of a frank ocean 2.0 .... his voice just sits so well with this beat
@honeychubbs3 жыл бұрын
@@CanPen92 shoutout to frank too even though be wasnt heavy into the OF representation, but other than that pretty much agreed except Earl, he wants the success and maybe fame but really carve his own style and path that doesn't exactly have alot of mainstream appeal

Definitely not Doms. Any time people bow down to Tyler, you get people saying how good Rolling Papers is (which is it). People know how good he is, though. I'd say far less OF fans are probably listening to The Internet. I'd go out on a limb and say not a lot of people know Left Brain produces, either.

Earl = Most lyrical Tyler = Most Creative Hodgy = Most relatable Domo = Well…he's a pothead rapper, but he's good Mike G = Most underrated Left Brain = Can produce, can't rap for shit. For people who say Hodgy is more lyrical, his lyrics would be arguable against earl's if he was more consistent. Occasionally Hodgy tends to spit a pretty fucking weak verse (like in "Look"). While in my opinion, earl always delivers a solid verse.
@KittyLocYo10 жыл бұрын
Domo isn't a pothead rapper and Tyler's a whole lot more relatable. Hodgy, bar a few songs these days, doesn't really rap about much lol
@thatmuthafuxa339510 жыл бұрын
KittyLocYo I mean Domo kind of is. That's like what he raps about 75% of the time. "It's Mr. Smoke a lot of pot/get your baby mama popped", "And when it comes to smoking I'm your highness bow down", and he just dropped a song about smoking called arrival…on 4/20. Me saying Hodgy is more relatable may just be me. I can relate to tyler to a moderate degree, but I knew my dad. I didn't get picked on much in school, never was too into raping people(I realize tyler doesn't do any of that shit, but he does(or did) rap about it.). I can relate to the whole salem thing and Dr. TC though. Now this song I can relate to. P2 I could also relate to and years. But thats just me, I'm sure tyler is more relatable to many, but he is unarguably the most creative out of the group.
@KittyLocYo10 жыл бұрын
I get you, I guess, but I just thought everyone could at least relate to the girl problems or at least has felt like an outsider in some way shape or form. I do feel like Domo has evolved into a lot more than just a weed rapper though and would be the underrated one in terms of how much he has improved since he started. People like to class OF as one entity that make one genre of music, which is far from true.
@thatmuthafuxa339510 жыл бұрын
KittyLocYo Nah, I see what your saying. I don't mean to classify them, as they are all different. Thats what makes the whole thing of them being a group work. Everyone surely has felt like an outsider I guess my story is more similar to hodgy. I definitely relate to the girl thing about salem and songs like Awkward, I do listen to tyler more tho. As for domo I guess I haven't listened to him enough. I heard part of his "No idols" mixtape and thats it besides his features. So I could be wrong. Imma go check out some his other stuff maybe it'll change my opinion.
