PPS. some quick 411 about me:
- I'm Cambodian and Chinese.
- I was born in November of 1983 (so I'll be 37 this year) and raised in Houston, TX.
- "OG KPOP STAN": I've always used the term "OG" (supposedly "original gangster") to define being old-school, and I became an avid Korean music aka Kpop listener/lover since 1998. Kpop was my coping mechanism from the bullying I experienced in my younger years and it's just stuck by me ever since. ALSO: me calling myself an "OG kpop stan" doesn't mean that anyone who's listened to kpop later than me is inferior. A kpop lifestyle is a kpop lifestyle regardless of time!☺️
- I was a hiphop dancer for about 7 years. I did the whole crew thing, auditioning thing, competition thing, choreography thing, dance instructor thing, so I have some experience in that field and I hope to be able to share some perspective from my experiences for y'all to see the extra things that I appreciate about a video when I point them out.
-My videos can have quite a lot of cuts in editing and/or my eyes will unnaturally blink rapidly sometimes. This is because of my neurological disease that came with my lupus nephritis (posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome). My thinking abilities and speaking abilities struggle to align at times.
- Yes, that's Jack Sparrow's ring that I always wear in my videos. I've been a Pirates of the Caribbean fan ever since I rode the ride for the first time ever in Disneyland when I was a kid.🤓

She is tiny but powerful. She is only 4'11" but every bit of it oozes power. She was also on produce 48, does a podcast with Jae from Day 6, and did a promo song with Dreamcatcher. She has also done an AMA on r/kpop.

Ah yes, Alexa is indeed a queen. She was a dancer her entire life pretty much and she debuted last yr in October, so she’s very new. She debuted with “Bomb,” then had her 2nd comeback in March of this yr w/ “Do or Die”, and released songs like KITTY RUN AND AI TROOPER (which is the name of the fandom, I’m not gonna lie I giggled when you called her Trooper haha it was like you foresaw the future), and then “Villain” came out in July this yr. I don’t listen to her very often but I’ve followed her throughout her journey. She co-hosts in a podcast from Dive Studios called “How Did I Get Here?” with Jae Park from Day6. I don’t know if this is confirmed? But I think she’s planning on having a different concept her next comeback? But so far the production for her mv’s are amazing. They’re all like movies lol ZB label is really doing an awesome job working with her.

As far as i know Bomb > Do or die > Revolution is a triolgy with a story that is now complete, so it would make sense that they change the concept next comeback

Let's add one thing : she is under ZB label which is a subsidiary company of ZANYBROS, Asia's best mv production company. So, thus, her mvs have to be really cool. ZANYBROS has filmed and produced more than 1,500+ mvs including AYA BY MAMAMOO, GEE BY GIRLS GENERATION, ALL OF A.C.E'S SONGS, BTS SONGS IN THEIR EARLY YEARS ETC.

Suggestion: Bomb (debut) --> A.I. Trooper (trailer of the comeback, but sooo good) --> Do or Die (first comeback)--> Kitty Run (perfomance only, b-side of Do or Die) --> Villain (pre release) --> and then it comes Revolution (second comeback) :)

Alexa is a first artist from zb label, a subsidiary of Zanybros, a huge video production company who work on a lot of other company artist mv. I think alexa's music video is connected with each other, so maybe you should watch it by the time it released. And there's a video titled "Enter the alexa world" released before the revolution mv which kinda explained alexa's concept and everything.

Many people clown her for not singing live sometimes on music shows but like HOW THE HELL ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO SING WHILE DANCING SOOOOOOO HARD!!! Her moves hit SO hard and take up SO much breath and control! If you check her YT and see some Vlogs about her performances, she’s always super sweaty and out of breath when finished with performances!!! She is SUCH a legend and deserves much more recognition! 😊💕

There is a story line to Alexa's music so you should start from her debut and continue in order. Her company, ZB Label, started out actually as a filming company that works with other kpop labels but the boss decided he wanted to create the story himself and have an artist of his own so Alex (as she was known then, she was kinda famous online doing kpop dance covers living in the US) got scouted after participating in a dance competition hosted by Korean companies. As far as I know, Alexa is actually the only artist signed to the company. They held auditions for trainees like a year and a half or 2 years ago (before Alexa debuted so a bunch of fans auditioned thinking they could end up debuting in the same group with her until she debuted solo) but I haven't heard anything about them since that. She has a fully fleshed out alternate universe that her music videos all take place but it is confusing so if you have any questions, there is a full break-down of the story on her officiall yt [Enter the Alexa World] which I think I've watched almost as many times as I've watched Revolution (they both came out around the same time).

Yay! Thank you for reacting to Alexa. She’s such a hard-working, passionate yet down to earth woman. In the BTS of this MV she got hurt from the explosion but she kept on going and even joked that they needed to keep the scene in the mv(the part where she was running away and into the blasts). To be so tiny(4’11) she packs a lot of energy and stage presence. And I laughed when you mentioned trooper...we’re(her fans) her A.I. Troopers. As mentioned already this MV that the last part in the story that started since her debut. As she just debuted, she doesn’t have a ton yet but still quite a good amount for being so new.

Your taste is just *chef's kiss* AleXa really is one hell of a solo artist and it's only a year since she debuted! She's actually her label's - ZB label of Zanybros - first trainee/artist ever as they're I believe the biggest MV production company in Korea so they're well known for their high quality high budget MV's which definitely gives her unique A.I concept the standout visuals such a concept needs, they're really more like short films and deserving of way more views as is AleXa herself. The fact that she's this strong already and literally has her own cinematic multiverse? Sky's the limit especially with her incredible work ethic and passion and the dedicated team behind her that clearly believe in her and have been willing to invest in her right from the jump. The fact that she only did her idol training for a year and was studying Korean at the same time? *mindblown* Her talent and personality make her seem 6ft tall but she's all that power and charisma in a 4'11 body :3 I'd love to see you react to more AleXa, her debut Bomb would be great to start with and there's a lot of content out there for you to get to know her better :) Stay safe and healthy, Thina! I don't get why this song isn't getting as much traction as her first two releases This is by far her best song and the music video is just so epic to watch

I really can't say much more than what's already been said. I will add that there are short blurbs about Alexa and ZB Label in the descriptions for all her MV's. Take a minute to read them. They're short but hold a lot of interesting information. She's a real triple threat. She can sing, rap (which she learned to do post debut) and, OMG, can she dance! She did a killer dance cover of Moonbyul's Eclipse (with surprise ending) that I think you'll really enjoy. If you haven't seen the original you might want to watch that first though, just for context, not to mention that it's awesome. There are several other dance covers on her channel that you should check out as well. Guess that's it. I'm really glad you've discovered and decided to explore Alexa's work. She's so talented and she deserves all the attention she can get.

YES!! You did react to her eventually!! You saw the power of this Queen 💞. Exceptional dancer, amazing actress, good rapper and singer! 🦾🦾 Her other songs with a MV/performance version are: Bomb, AI Trooper (amazing powerful dance performance 💞), Do or Die, Kitty Run and Villain. She also did a collab with TheFatRat and has a Dance clip with it. She also did a lot of dance covers. All are amazing. You should check out the dance cover of Eclipse, and maybe of Drip Drop (this one is quite unique). But really, all are worth checking out 😅.

Go back and watch Alexa's "Bomb" and then "Do Or Die" then you will see then entire story! The three videos when watched in order tell a story.

I always have to watch her MVs 3 times. Once for the cinematics/story, once for the choreo, and once for the actual song. There's just SOO much that goes on in her MVs it's hard to catch it all in one go.
