PPS. some quick 411 about me:
- I'm Cambodian and Chinese.
- I was born in November of 1983 (so I'll be 37 this year) and raised in Houston, TX.
- "OG KPOP STAN": I've always used the term "OG" (supposedly "original gangster") to define being old-school, and I became an avid Korean music aka Kpop listener/lover since 1998. Kpop was my coping mechanism from the bullying I experienced in my younger years and it's just stuck by me ever since. Also! Just to be clear: me calling myself an "OG kpop stan" doesn't mean that anyone who's listened to kpop later than me is inferior. A kpop lifestyle is a kpop lifestyle regardless of time.😄
- I was a hiphop dancer for about 7 years. I did the whole crew thing, auditioning thing, competition thing, choreography thing, dance instructor thing, so I have some experience in that field and I hope to be able to share some perspective from my experiences for y'all to see the extra things that I appreciate about a video when I point them out.
-My videos can have quite a lot of cuts in editing and/or my eyes will unnaturally blink rapidly sometimes. This is because of my neurological disease that came with my lupus nephritis (posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome). My thinking abilities and speaking abilities struggle to align at times.
- Yes, that's Jack Sparrow's ring that I always wear in my videos. I've been a Pirates of the Caribbean fan ever since I rode the ride for the first time ever in Disneyland when I was a kid.🤓

"So what" got them their first stage show win! This definitely elevated them in Korea and globally! What appreciate about their win is they were so humbled, touched, and even bowed to show their gratitude!

My favorite part of So What is though the other girls are wearing 'edgy' fashion, some of them like Chuu, Gowon, and Yeojin are wearing traditionally 'feminine' outfits, like the skirts and floral dresses. There are multiple ways to be 'free' and to love yourself and put yourself first.

The feather at the end is to symbolize Loona's leader Haseul who hasn't been in videos since 2019 when she was dealing with too many anxiety issues to continue having schedules. Her symbol is the white bird and that feather is to show that she is invincible. Really touching of the company to do.

You should react to a member guide or something. One of the strong suits of Loona being such a good group are definitely the girls themselves, each one has so much character and unique charm of their own and once you get to know each one of them a little bit it's so much easier to get sucked into them.

The reverse burning feather is Haseul, their Leader. Its like they're saying she's recovering from her anxiety disorder thats why she doesn't participate on their current comebacks coz she still needs time to recover. 🙏

the camera works during music shows don't do justice for LOONA's choreo and I must say that they don't actually need those because their dance choreography is already great to look at

Is next your favorite and Hi high reactions? Favorite doesn't have a dance practice, and same for hi high, but hi high does have a choreography MV version (with amazing camera work and a slightly different choreo, since that song is about the full group loona forming together, the choreo seperates the girls into their sub units for most of the choreo) (and favorite MV basically is mostly a performance video, so that's the best you'll get, or you could also watch a live performance)

i think what i rly like about their concept in 'So What' is that their name is 이달의 소녀 which translates to 'girl of the month' or 'girl of the moon', and they are going against the moon itself. it feels like they're saying that wherever you came from, what ever background you have, it doesn't define you as a person, and you have the power to prove it, by going against it (by burning the moon/burning yourself).

IKR! The whole song is so unabashedly defiant and in-your-face! Its about choosing your own fate. It also works on a meta level because of the issues LOONA and their company faced due to the departure of their creative director Jaeden Jjong. The whole song feels like a slap in the face for him.

The 2 most underrated groups in KPOP history I freaking swear. If it wasn’t for international fans we wouldn’t be bless for having them. I do not take them for granted. Both groups work really hard and the music is phenomenal.

Love you're Loona reactions! You are in for a trip lol If you're interested, would love to see a reaction to Mamamoo? Even though they're not really a dance focused group, recently they've invested a lot into upping their choreography game (from Gogobebe -> Hip -> Dingga -> Aya) it'd be cool to see a comparison of their more simple self choreographed songs like Egotistic or Starry Night vs the newer ones that One Million Lia Kim did since Gogobebe I think. Mamamoo, Dreamcatcher and Loona are my ultimate favs groups. They each have that strong different fierce this-is-us vibe which is amazing. If not thanks anyways! Look forward to any future Loona/DC reactions :)

@@orbitana3402 In my opinion, GFriend is the Queen of Synchronization. Loona is the Queen Wrecker. Still not there yet, but very very close. Again, It's just my opinion.

But I also didn't want to reject the idea from the main comment that LOONA is the best in terms of dancing, so I added "In my opinion".

I would say is IZ*ONE>Loona>GFriend>Dreamcatcher but like the difference is minimal and pretty much only exists because of choreos that don't exactly demand synchronization rather than lack of skills to pull it off.

Yes the feather didn’t burn because the feather represents Hasuel from LOONA who is currently on a hiatus due to anxiety I think it was and her representing animal is a bird and so this feather represents her so LOONA was basically saying Hasuel can’t burn so saying she’s strong and nothing can defeat her 💚

Oh! Maybe you could react to their Love Battery cover. It's just the one stage from Immortal Songs so there' not a dance practice, though, so it's understandable if you don't do a vid on it. You should check out their cover on your free time if you get around to it, they did an amazing job and learned it in 1 day for their performance
