Dude has such a badass villain voice. Not your typical deep or rough voice, but sharp like a knife and the dialogue plays to that perfectly as well.

Always felt Romans Makarov sits along side characters like Heath Ledgers Joker, it has that uniqueness that makes them memorable & played to perfection by the actors themselves cements that even more, the new Makarov just sounds like Russian guy #54

I mean, Roman, I doubt he'll see this, but Roman, TECHNICALLY you have become a Romeo. Some people like the character so much that to them they wanna date the '09 Makarov. So... I mean you did kinda get that dream. In a weird way. Edit: People now in this day, mainly Gen Z, some Millennials, they LOVE the villain! I mean yeah, Ghost, Captain MacTavish, they have their moments. But people now, they LOVE the villain, they WANT the villain.

Makarov low key confessing Roman is just a role and deep down he's Vlad 💪🏻 love the raw authenticity that Russian actors bring to the table. "yeah growing up in the Soviet union (or post Soviet era) messes you up so here I am, with my demons." Which is basically what most Russian actors or novelists say more or less

I love 20th century history especially the history of the Soviet Union. And too hear Roman talk about growing up in that period and talk about family history in the USSR means so much to me, i hope he talks more about it in the future

Ask Roman about that one scene where Makarov grabs kiril by the throat in the elevator scene, I wanna see if he can give insight into that mystery. Ask him also how he thinks Makarov feels about killing civilians.
