Thanks for this video. I’ve been interested in one of Ohana’s sopraninos. I love how they used solid wood for these. You actually made them both sound wonderful, but I do prefer the soprano over the sopranissimo. I recently played a Romero xs soprano (sopranino size with soprano size neck). It had a low g which surprised me but it sounded fantastic. It was solid koa. No surprise they sell for a lot of money. Anyway, you are right, it would be nice to add a new size to my collection. Probably couldn’t go wrong with any of the ohanas.

Yup! Ohana are quality instrument for their price range😊. My very first Soprano was an Sk-38 which I still love till this day. Yeah, that Romero creation you’ve mentioned are amazing, I’ve only seen & heard it on the Ukulele Site website and they sound amazing!🎶🔈🎙. It takes a while to get used to the Sopranissimo’s size but once you get the hang on it, then it’s playtime🤗🤗🤗. Thank you for your time Jody✌🏻❤️

@@iamshake7778 It's fun to be youtube friends & keep up with each other on the Facebook groups. Do you have any Vintage? Did you see the Johnny Marvin Harmony I got I just read a whole page in my Martin Book about it.

As of this time, I don’t have any vintage uke but, I live so close to Guitar Center Hollywood where they have a bunch of vintage instruments including ukuleles. I always go there, way back 10 years ago, like 4 times a week!Recently I noticed they’ve got some ukes too because back then I only play guitar. For me, it will be better to buy vintage instruments personally in stores, because first of all most of them, but not all of them ,got repairs done on them already, I even tried ones that got a terrible fret buzz and it’s a Vintage Martin ukulele , style 3. Buying a vintage is a big leap from being a player, first, you have to ask yourself, am I gonna collect this? Or play this? Because, if you are gonna collect it and resell it, we gotta make sure that most of the parts are original, because it’s what makes the value of the instrument go up or down. More original part the more you pay for it, the more non- original parts, the lesser the value of the instrument (money wise) but if you just want own it and play it, it’s really up to you already😊all of my ukuleles were bought Online, I haven’t bought any uke in stores. Thank you for your comment Jody🔈🎶🎙✌🏻🤗

Excellent comparison! I agree with your analysis of the sounds. You did a great job playing those tiny ukes😉 I have the Ohana SK 38 and it has that same boomy warm loud sound. I wanted a soprano that had the vintage sound for vintage music. It does. 😊 I have debated whether or not to get one of these tiny ukes. Thanks so much for the comparison and information!🙂

First of all thank you for your time🤗🤗🤗. By the way I also have an Sk-38 and it’s actually my very first Soprano ukulele that I got 3 years ago. That sk-38 is just loud and boomy😊. It’s louder than any of my current Soprano uke, but it has a sweetness and richness in it. Just like the Sk-38 , this Sk-21M is similar to it but in a tiny package👍. Playing this uke is always a challenge at first, but just like any thing in life we can’t progress if we don’t tackle those challenges, and it gets easier as I play it every time. 🎶🔈🎙. Again , thank you Peace&love✌🏻❤️

Interesting comparison. Ohana has always been my choice of ukulele. My main recording/performing model is the Ohana five string (both high and low G) the TK 35G-5. Tenor size. Aquila strings.
