How is this bad boy? Any polished bevels on the way to the shorts?

Everytime I'm using it, I have a smile from ear to ear. It just gives amazing feedback. It's hard but so smooth. Nice slurry that smells great too. And super nice Kasumi finish.

@@chefknivesenthusiast Wonderful! Happy to hear you enjoy your Uchi ))) I am also enjoying mine and feel very fortunate that I didn't sell it on KKF a few months ago. It is just way too good to let go )))

Pretty good sized for Koppa, no? I never see Koppa that thick readily available. Is it $$$?
@chefknivesenthusiast9 ай бұрын
For a Koppa it certainly is thick. I bought it when I was at Japanese Natural Stones in Denmark at a 40% discount. It was $320 originally. He has just a few in stock. But I think they are not all suitable for knives.

@@chefknivesenthusiast …I’ve bought from JNS; whetstones snd a Nakiri. I could have used your 40% discount. Can I mention we’re friends? Sure that’s a stretch, but I do “follow” your KZfaq activities. 😆🙏

The 40% is exclusively for the people he invites to his yearly gathering and only aplies during the gathering. 🤷🏾♂️

@@chefknivesenthusiast ..okay, I’ll give you my “wish list” before next years invite. We’ll have to do credit card data offline. 😂
