Ohm testing coil pack and fuel injector of Nissan 300ZX

Welcome to Me Being Cheap! I am a single mom attempting to pay off my mortgage in 3.5 years. Come watch as I trouble shoot my dead cylinder on this 1990 Nissan 300ZX. I explain how to take an ohm reading of the coil pack, plus I explain how to remove the plug that is on top of the fuel injector. I then take a reading of the fuel injector that is on top of the non functioning cylinder. Feel free to leave a comment and I will respond. Thanks for watching!

Does the battery need to be on the car to ohm the injector? I tried to ohm one injector but it didn't read anything.

No the battery does not need to be installed because when you disconnect the injector cable you are isolating it from the battery and cpu. If you're not reading anything (which happened to me also) then the injector is bad. Make sure to short your leads together to verify your meter is working properly. You can also test the new one before installing it.

my93foxmustang1 incredibly rough idle and poor perforamance and hesitation at low speeds

going strong. better than ever. I haven't done any Z videos recently since I haven't been working on it. I need to work on the AC

@@mebeingcheap7644 my ac doesn't work either. I do however own a vert so it's not horrible on milder days. I'm at my limit because of this Bama humidity. I keep telling the wife this is the year I fix it and she keeps telling me work more overtime 😂

yes, it is a dark blue cloth interior.

Take a look at this j-bender.com/?page_id=154 Your car is less than 3.58% of the total made like that. Very rare. and 3% for 1990. That color combination was only made in 90 and 91. Just something to keep in mind. Take care of your interior as well. You will have to shell out big bucks to replace plastic pieces and carpets in blue. Id strongly recommend tinting the windows and using a windshield sunshade if you keep it outside.
