There is a whole video from him about the AK and how there actually is no such thing as an AK47, no gun was ever designated with a 47 at the end, the first ones were just called AK and then it was AKM and after they made a smaller cartridge to make the recoil very low it was AK-74

I mean, you are not wrong, sure. But then go to the Kalashnikov channel, their actual dedicated youtube channel about guns... And be shocked to hear how they all occasionally drop the A-word with the hard 47 (AK47). Even the people who work in the factory that produces modern Kalashnikovs use the term AK47. No joke. Think what you want about it, I'm not taking sides here.

In his video, he says there IS an AK-47, but it was only officially called that for a few months. And then after that, it would still occasionally be called an AK-47 in parts of the manual.
