I am not a Sony fanboy I'm not a fanboy of any company they all have their values and they all have their negative aspects but even I know. That the Sony fan boys are going to buy the game when it comes out The only thing is is that you're going to be paying the $80 or $100 whatever the price that is for that country living. Because one thing I know about gamers is that they don't care how much microtransactions are loot boxes are game passes they're still going to buy the stupid ass game.

@@EarthPrime52 the reason why the executives have been cutting and getting rid of studios like tango was because the Microsoft executives basically said where's the big pay off for spending billions on acquiring other studios and developers so they panicked and started cutting hard and opening up there I.P's to other platform holders (Sony/Nintendo). You actually think a Netflix for games is a sustainable way to make games? It could be good for consumers if they can get deals like they did where you could get gamepass for like a dollar. I cannot see how it could be sustainable for the XBOX division. Don't get me wrong I actually couldn't care less about publishers/development studios most of the time I play computer games I just play old games on PC with some newer indie games.

Most of the money COD makes is not from game sales, it's from DLCs and micro transactions. That's why Microsoft is willing to put it on a subscription service.

It's honestly a tremendous value and no one is stopping you/us from still buying what we want. I encourage you to give a try their entire ecosystem too. Jumping from Xbox to PC is so incredibly satisfying.

Well the thing is, Xbox hasn't had exclusives for almost 10 years now. Everything has come out on PC and Xbox. It is more apt to call them Microsoft ecosystem exclusives. It makes his points look even dumber when you realize that Gamepass has literally never had an Xbox only first party exclusive, and that of course is not what the value proposition of Gamepass ever was. These guys just have absolutely no idea what they're talking about. It's not worth engaging with to be honest. It's like arguing with a 6-year-old.

Xbox makes as much as Windows, GamePass brings in a quarter billion a month, they have a massive ecosystem, COD makes most of it's money in microtransactions, Sarah Bond already said they're making a new console that's a generational leap like they've ever done but yes, Xbox is freaking out... yeah, okay. I get tired of this, Xbox is probably in it's best state it has ever been. Isn't the goal to make money? MAU's are more important. Winning the bottom-line while being last in consoles... I think anyone would take that.

I am 34 years old I have never ever owned a Xbox console, always PlayStation since ps1. Never ever considered to buy a Xbox, always hated it. I just bought a xbox series s with 1year Ultimate Game pass just for call of duty and to be honest i kinda like the Ul and even the controller. Glad I switched

Dreamcast guy has PlayStation Plus Premium which is $18/month and by any objective measure is a vastly inferior offering to GamePass Ultimate. Personally, even though there *could* be a price increase on game pass, I'm thinking, it could be because of the web-based xbox mobile store. There could be a new tier added for mobile that could allow for no ads & lower microtransactions on mobile in their own store.

Xbox does not need to make back the ~80B it spent on ABK, this is such a ignorant take that ponies constantly use. They gave up $80B of cash for an asset worth $80B (or more). DCG's brain is as smooth as by bowling ball.

Another thing, that 70bln isn't lost. It's transferred into the real estate/studios/IP's etc. That value is still there....Phil said as much. Of course it's not 1:1 but generally it is. They just now have to take on the operating costs.

I do not think they uderstand how game pass words too. i was using it to play lots of games and mainly forza horizon 4 and then 5 when it come out. i ended up buying both of them games on steam later on as i got tired of paying game pass just for the one game at the time. i have play many games on game pass and ended up buying them after as i want the dlc , like remnant 2 i wanted the seasion pass as the dlc is awesome in the game .

dreamcast guy keeps forgetting that cod will be on playstation and most likely steam which means microsoft is still going to make money off of those platforms 70% of cod sales will go to microsoft 70% from playstation sales, 70% from pc sales, and 100% from xbox and windows sales. They would make the money back Faster

If Black Ops 6 is coming to Gamepass does that mean MW3, MW2, MW2019, Cold War, Vanguard, Modern Warfare, Advanced Warfare, Infinite Warfare, Black Ops 4, Black Ops 3, Black Ops 2, Black Ops, World at War, Big Red One, Call of Duty 3, Call of Duty 2, and Call of Duty is coming to Gamepass? and there's DLC for all of those games that you can still get.

I would like to see the bean counter numbers on doing this. Then later see the real numbers from doing it. It really is something I know only a little about so I'd like to see how close they get to their projections.
