There’s no blame to be had anywhere here. Everyone’s reaction was appropriate. Canha had every right to chirp a bit and then get back in the box, Suzuki pounced like a cat to protect his pitcher, and Ohtani was like sorry, my bad. This is the most adult clearing of the benches I’ve seen all season.

The announcer for the Angels said something slightly complaining how long it took the Angels to clear the dugout and get out on the field. I was so confused. Like bro it's a non fight with both players involved walking away from each other and the umpires already between them.

Ohatani always seems like a really good dude, can't imagine he would ever intentionally throw at a batter's head. The only person at fault here seems like the catcher, imo. And even he is just trying to get his pitcher's back. So overall, nobody's really at fault I guess?

Yeah you could see Ohtani's control is not good for the past couple of games. This game is no exception. Yes, indeed, the catcher called inside pitch but definitely not intentional brush ball. The catcher just doing his job to step up for the pitcher, that's all

Though he stayed in his apt but he did spend a lot of time with his Mom, as Shohei only went between training and apt only every day in Japan. I guess he feels very comfortable and relax to enjoy some family time an home dishes while the Mass Media Reporters were waiting outside of his apt or near his car every day to take his close-up pictures. And they were so disappointed 🤣 by Shohei's boiling daily routine and strict training live with the support from Mom and Ippei only! No Dating Out and No Party late!!😂
