i haven’t bought Chucky yet, but i’ve played against a lot of them, and i can definitely say that scampering seems really difficult, if not impossible to land if survivors position correctly

I agree that it’s frustrating when they dodge it, but I feel like having immediate 90 degree turn rate after the scamper would be almost unavoidable. I’ve used it a few times on god pallets where the survivor plays distance and doesn’t expect it.

A. Nerf for bad players. A buff for good players. This update has been awesome for Chucky. He used to feel so slow going around the map. I can actually mind game loops because the power comes back so quickly. I hope they don't change it. I think he's fine.

Scamper can still get value, it’s more niche now but can still get value. If you’re more into an almost guaranteed hit with scamper now vecnas new vault perk with bam is a solid choice. Can almost instant scamper for a nice hit but some tiles are safer than others, it’ll just take practice and experimenting. Good luck

it is ABSOLUTELY useless because if u use it to scamper or window u will 100% not get the hit as the power ends after that so what is the point of using it as the surv will not be next to u. hence u didnt see him use his power as he wouldnt have gotten any value out of it hence he didnt feel the need to use it

still has use (mainly mobility) but if a survivor runs in any direction that isnt a straight line, most of the time you wont get a hit

It’s alright but it’s percentage based so same percentage on smaller cooldown is effectively less benefit. Not horrible but not great either

@@maxil8988exactly and its important to think about the bigger picture. Overall if you use Slice and Dice about 15 times per game that's 27 seconds shaved off in total which is huge.

@@levimiller1161 power drill was strong before his change and it is still top 3 add-on. I always use power drill+rat poison. it is his best combo. Jump rope is only good if you run brutal strength and break pallets because jump rope allows you to hit people between loops. On normal chucky, the extra range is kinda pointless because you can just adjust your distance by activating the power later. Ruler(Yellow add-on that recovery on miss attack) can be argue to be stronger.. because you can use his dash as detection tool with rat poison. At the same time, equiping bbq kinda does that without needing ruler so whatever.

its almost like 24/7 wall hacks is insanely strong.

@@DeputyFish Wallhacks that are only on for his maybe 2 second dash with the range of a Skull Merchant drone. Literally proved useless for finding survivors in this very video. It's usefull for that one corner tech mindgame, that's it. Anything more and you can't adjust your dash to hit anyway.

Tell me where you saw dashing for information being usefull in this video. 12m IS nothing. You don't need to hit them sure, you are also not finding them though. And while LOOPING if they do anything but hide behind a corner you can't act on the information. And it's 5 seconds IF they get revealed. Not 5 seconds of aura reading in a 12m radius. The dash only goes for like 2 seconds max if that.

This is one of the worst takes I've ever heard. Skill expression in a game is the basis for every game… if there was no skills involved in playing games ur just watching a movie. So anything that makes the game more Interactive makes the game better because its more to do. Scamper being a pallet skipper isn't good because from the survivors end it's interactive and boring where scamper is fun to go against because it's interesting and fun to learn to counterplay and to play. Just because u want your baby win instead of learning the characters fun mechanics is why the dbd community is a problem. Everyone almost always just wants to win and it makes a toxic environment that doesn't want to learn

It's always a killer mechanic add on or perk. One of the most biased creators in this game

rat poison was a problem in old chucky. in fact it was more problematic then his scamper because the whole reason why scamper had no counter-play is the aura reading removed any mindgame potencial.

@@dodang_9147 rat poison is no different from other killers who has aura reading abilities and people often run perk and even a boon to protect themselves from the aura reading. Bottom line, they actually made scamper useless (except for new players or people who run in a straight line). All they had to do was slow down the crawling (vaulting was fine). I would have been fine with it. Regardless i’m still playing as Chucky and already adapted but a part of his kit was taken away, not a unique character anymore.

I think the faster cooldowns are healthy. If you missed a slice and dice back then, the chase was pretty much a waste of time. You had to run in a straight line for almost 20 seconds with no power. Compare that to nurse who can use her power consistently.
