I had Copics and Prismacolors before getting these, and when I got these I was surprised with how well they worked with the two brands and really evened things out color wise. I find I’m using the Ohuhu set of pastel tones as much as my regular markers. I love how your merm turned out! So soft and… well… pastelly looking. They definitely go well with your style of coloring.

Ahhhhh!!!!!! I remember waiting for these markers to first come out! I like kept on refreshing the page until they became available and purchased them immediately! The one I got came with a set of their fineliners which I love so much! Thank you for pointing out the splatter, I think it's because they are really....juicy?? so they tend to do that. I have used other brands of alcohol markers where I would get splatter because the cap was so hard to pull off, I ended up brushing the edge of the cap against the marker tip and would get dots all over the place. It would be frustrating because I would have like black splatter dots all over a pretty face I had just worked so hard on =_= Because of that experience I always open my markers away from my works, even though I have Copic's and Ohuhu now, (which the caps are so easy to take off! Like omg!) I have several sets from Ohuhu, (and love them all) so if you would like to check out more, go right ahead! Maybe either their skin tone sets or one of their sets that comes with a bunch of colors. Just note that one of the complaints which brought about the pastel set, is that these markers are very bold in their color and there weren't enough soft and light colors. Also the skin tones have gone through several revisions. Their first few sets had undertones in mind, like purples, greens and yellows. However this brought about confusion because there weren't enough people that understood why those colors were there and how to use them. Also, they didn't really have a good selection of lighter tones in those earlier sets. They have adjusted since and now have (in my opinion) an awesome variety which includes lighter shin tones (yay!) ^^ though they did away the undertones. ...I hope my little input helps you in some way ^^

I have copics but I heard many great things about Ohuhu markers. When they get refill cartridges, they will be able to truly rival copics. Copics are a longterm investment but Ohuhu are great for beginners and a cheaper alternative. Your drawing is goregeous and graceful. 😊

I have 3 sets, pastel, skin tones and regular, all brushes. They amazing 1:35 “if one of them get ruined” why would you want to brush marker tip to get consumed by the black mist ??? (I played too much lol 😂)

I bought the special brush/fine versions from the website on "sale" during their 5th anniversary. You got a really good sale price though.
