@@6MetaL6Core6 The truth is they really don't know what exactly created the oil. But I think that the term fossil fuel is misleading. The fish in the graphic is misleading, too. Imagine the huge algae and single celled organisms that lived for aeons long before higher life forms. It's these life forms that fell to the bottom of the ocean and became these huge beds of material that turned into oil. It wasn't fish or dinosaurs.
@DlcEnergy

well, just think of how vast and deep the ocean is covering most of earths surface containing trillions of fish and just how long the earth has been around. there's been bazillions of fish way before ape-kind came about, evolved into humans then invented lots of demand for all that oil... (trains, planes, cars, televisions, mobiles, rockets, etc...)

Yeah they drill 30,000 feet below surface. I’ve heard the fossil line is above like 16,000 and most drilling is on land anyway so how would a fossil get that low below earths surface. Idk I’m just a average guy but it seems weird. And considering the amount of oil used everyday for over a century it’s hard to believe

0:26 is that what they mean by fossil fuel. Old bones from millions of years ago all consolidate into oil. This means oil is replenish-able it just takes millions of years for oil to replenished itself b/c the bones all haven’t turned to oil yet. What if we developed a new type of fossil that dies quicker or remove some molecules that make the fossils die quicker

The discovery of oil peaked in 1964. Why is this old fact important? A. Mankind cannot pump undiscovered oil. Rystad Energy reported that the average annual discovery of oil has declined to 9 billion barrels. Mankind consumes 36 billion barrels PA., so 9 billion is 27 billion barrels short PA. At some point in the not distant future demand for oil will exceed supply. The price will escalate. So will the price of food. Please grow your own food! Regards Gray

Did you know that oil was formed from the large decayed trees and animal carcasses as a result of the worldwide flood in Noah's day, when God caused it to rain for forty days and forty nights? God used a strong wind to buried the trees and carcasses of man and beast in the earth under great pressure. Genesis 6:17,18 Genesis 8:1 And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark: and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters assuaged;

@@emmanuelbelgara8562 Thanks for sharing sir. We should further discuss the age of the earth and the origin of mankind. Check out this: At this time immense forests were buried. These have since been changed to coal, forming the extensive coal beds that now exist, and also yielding large quantities of oil. The coal and oil frequently ignite and burn beneath the surface of the earth. Thus rocks are heated, limestone is burned, and iron ore melted. The action of the water upon the lime adds fury to the intense heat, and causes earthquakes, volcanoes, and fiery issues. As the fire and water come in contact with ledges of rock and ore, there are heavy explosions underground, which sound like muffled thunder. The air is hot and suffocating. Volcanic eruptions follow; and these often failing to give sufficient vent to the heated elements, the earth itself is convulsed, the ground heaves and swells like the waves of the sea, great fissures appear, and sometimes cities, villages, and burning mountains are swallowed up. These wonderful manifestations will be more and more frequent and terrible just before the second coming of Christ and the end of the world, as signs of its speedy destruction."

I call utter sophistry. I've seen animals die and literally not one of them turned to oil. Not one, Ever. So explain to me again how billions of barrels of this oil magically appeared in localised small oceans. Did all the animals gather in certain spots all at once and then drop dead? Were they immediately covered with a layer of rock? How come they didn't just rot? Why did they not become food for other organisms after 18 months of repeated rain wind and sun or just decompose into the soil? Like I said I call bullshit.
