Dude I took my (at the time just turned 4) year old to see them and she had the actually best fucking time in her life. They brought all the kids up in stage to dance, there were all kinds of science/music experiments in the breezeways. Not gonna lie, OK GO wasn’t my thing till I had a daughter to help me appreciate them. Consummate musicians, brilliant people, seem to be all around perfect role models
@cromulentwords3 жыл бұрын
You see, this is what constitutes good role-modelism. People of all ages can benefit from witnessing a bunch of 40-year-old guys set loose in a warehouse and throwing paint at stuff in a cooperative manner, as it conveys the message that creativity and friendship and self-expression are always important and valuable. And I hope that next time they put the paint in super soakers, or maybe do something with smoke bombs. Or an irresponsible amount of glue and glitter.

I wonder what it looks like if you have a camera above, spinning at the same rate as the canvas.

Even easier, just rotate the video at the same speed and crop the result, would be really cool i think

just spin your head at the same rate as the spinning canvas, and probably you'll do this in your entire life
@Dylan-go5iv3 жыл бұрын
@@fishbone0 Actually the result would be much different under most circumstances. Both would be very cool to see though. The reason I say it would be different is because the relative motion between the camera and the canvas would create a blurring effect because of the shutter speed of the camera. As a result, I'd guess that the closer you look to the center of the canvas, the clearer it would appear (assuming you have the camera centered above the canvas).

My favorite part is near the beginning, when they learn about the medium and the environment that they're working in by doing some simple experiments, then building on what happens (the environment is changed once the canvas is wet with paint, for example). Great clip. Agree with those who say this would be good children's television. Would that they could have appeared on Mister Rogers' Neighborhood!

Have your guys watched any Acrylic pour videos? They're all about chaotic control. You never know what you're going to get, but you try to get it to a point that you can accept and love. Everything you do affects the end result; in the way you choose your colors, manipulate the paint as you pour and the way you tilt it after it's on the canvas, but the final result it's mostly out of your control.

Okay, there was a kid's toy when I was young that did exactly this - you had a lipped edge so the paint did not go everywhere, it was motorized, and you put the piece of paper on the bottom and then put ink, bubbles, and what not on there and did exactly what they did. I forgot the name of this toy, does anyone from their childhood remember its name? Thanks.

The reason it makes you feel the way it does is because of the harmonic tones of the planets and celestial bodies. They have a wide range of sound and these Harmonic frequencies permeate us durring conception and also have a strong effect on emotion as the freqncies mirror brain function frequencies of emotion as do colors, all things are tied into astronomy as the universe is a fractal paradox and therefore the structure may be self sustaining and without collapse and for time to be a dimension as a distance between 1point to another within a sphere of Infiniti, the only way infinity may exist is in polar ballance and in paradox. As above . So below. Hermetic knowledge. Certain zodiac signs may also be partial to certain genres because of this harmonic, symmetric. Electro magnetic imprint. The universe is harmonic in nature. 12 dimensions... With 12 octaves per dimension just like a musical scale. And u wonder why jesus has 12 apostles. 12 months 12 hours. 12 sperm line up on an egg to let the 13th in. Between each 12 octaves is a gate. A 13th. The number of birth or Manifestation. It literally looks like this. [] . . . . . . . . . . . .[] . . . . . . . . . . . .[] . . . . . . . . . . . . look familiar? Like the neck of a guitar? This effect can be observed using sound and metal filings as a medium for symmetry of EM waves to show us part of the harmonic structure of the universe that is observable by the human eye. I think it was faraday that discovered this but I may be wrong it was a long time ago that I'd seen the video of the 12±1 scale and metal fillings. Read the first bit of spiritual and demonic magic from ficcino to camponella to understand this mode better than I've briefly and very poorly explained here... Also in the book drunvalo Melchizedek the flower of life explains these harmonic structures... There is also the short but astonishing video sacred resonance experiment that shows a beautiful expression of sound and symmetry.. Again thank u for your art. Your music videos captivated my soul.

good to see you again, guys. This video was hard on me - it had no self awerness, as you talk like this art is new - as there are thousends of those videos going around. and it was like a classroom, with the teacher but without students - only noding heads. you can do so much better then this one. (and what about the final result of the canvas you haven't revealed?)
