Ren did his homework with this one. Shell Oil Co. actually started out selling shells

In the 1830's The Shell Trading Company began selling exotic sea shells. They imported tropical shells and sold them as shell bejeweled boxes and such. As the importer of the exotic shells (Marcus Samuel) was able to manipulate the supply and demand of the shells. His son's inherited and began also selling kerosene and eventually the Shell Oil Company was born and still exists today. So this video using selling sea shells is amazing. (and also based on historical fact).

The antique store noticed that exotic sea shells were very in vogue and started importing them and selling them This morphed into a full blown import/export company which meant they had the capabilities to transport things worldwide With oil blowing up and needing worldwide export/import they build transport capable of doing just that, namely the first oil tankers When that went very well they started their own refineries and merged with Royal Dutch as they transistioned from a transport company to a full blown oil company

I actually very much appreciated the version you watched after Money Game 1... the completely acapella walking on the beach version. I'd not heard/seen that before and I find his live performances bring such a unique take (For Joe and Murderer come to mind).
