I’ve been telling people that some of best hoopers I know come from Oklahoma, and a small school at that . I’m from here . My high school is 3A , we done played all levels but them 3A and down school’s different. I done seen guys from 2A play against 6A schools and straight cook . Any time you see you a team with no black guys , be ready to see some solid sound basketball and good shooting.

Metamora won the 3A state title pretty easily last year. I'm surprised a 2A team from Oklahoma could beat them.

It’s a back to back 2A team… so not surprised here. Also dale doesn’t have football so they solely focus on either basketball or baseball. No track and field either.

2A Dale won the Oklahoma Tournament of Champions last year with two juniors and three sophomores. Obviously, only two seniors this year. OK's ToC is coming in Tulsa last week of December.

I beat his older brother in the state title back in 2019 an me an him got in a fight towards the end of the game an I remember his lil bro yelling reckless at me from the coaches bench, had no idea his lil bro would end up being 2x the player I was. Happy he’s going to my Alma mater OU tho lmao

@@PongGod I think he’ll be fine. Elite shooter w a very high IQ. He has 3 brothers all played college, none D1 but regardless. Doubt he’ll play much as a true freshman bc OU is actually really good this season and they not losing any of their starters this year unless someone declares for the draft but I do think he could be the 7th man potentially next year. Dale HS has a legendary history they won state 3x when I was in HS. Finally got them my senior year then they won 3 straight after that. Dude just knows how to win.
