Inspired by the unique complexities of running modulations in parallel, Old Blood Noise Endeavors unveils the Visitor Parallel Multi-Modulator. With three different primary modulation options (tremolo, chorus, and phaser) and two parallel secondary modulation options (tremolo and chorus), Visitor immediately inspires new sounds in a single pedal format. Further strangeness occurs with the delay offset of the secondary modulation and the interaction of the secondary rate and the primary depth. This is a Visitor you'll happily invite into your life!

God this pedal has such nostalgia behind it with a lot of these settings. It seriously feels like EarthBound music! Plus, with that graphic of a kid with a ballcap coming out of the bushes (and clearly seems like an alien) - all EarthBound vibes.

Really wasn't interested in the other demoes of this pedal I saw....couldn't find the musicality in it. Have been through sooooo many multi-mod pedals trying to find one that worked for me, my songs and the board...so thank you. This has been an eye-opener, really has some warm, musical and un-digital sounding fun under the hood. Top of my wishlist now!

Just re-listened to the synth jam and final stretch again. So good! I've been putting my old modulation pedals (which are sans blend knobs) through parallel routing, so the Visitor seems like a next....er, very tempting... logical step.

I’ve been looking at chorus pedals for weeks and struggling to find what I want…I’ve been skipping over obne cause I picked up the sunlight and wanted idk something like the walrus Julia but never really felt it was interesting enough… I finally put in the search for the visitor and was psyched you did a demo…hit play and ordered the visitor afterwards…it was what I was looking for all along.

OMG, you truly turns every pedal you touch to gold ! When I first heard of that pedal I was suspicious about how good it could sounds, as I'm not a huge fan of modulation ( a bit is enough to me), but man, that was MENTAL !! You made this pedal sounds like a beast, especially the first riff with the fuzz, mind blown !!

Phewww man, there was a moment when you did the double chorus and i was just staring deeply into the pedal and it just spoke to me. Like i was in the place of this kid seeing some otherworldly alien interactions XD. I previously was thinking about getting a julia, might opt for this instead, Just got a slö(sincerely one of the best purchases ive ever made!) Also want too get the MOOD and Shallow Water, and now this. - Manifesting it all!!! I deserve them :)

Cool demo of a cool pedal. Awesome playing too btw. Love how you put it with keys. I like the "weird" sounds as with layering effects it helps to come up with a sound that's more likely to be unique. Or at the very least I try figure out an approximate "purple rain" or Dreampop tone...just by twiddling the knobs. I liken it to gain stacking. As shown here: Modulations can stack and then your ear picks up the nice nuisances when your not even playing or catching mistake transients and turning mistakes into art. Sine waves in and out of phase creating a trem fluttering stuttering sound? A trompe d'oreil or optical illusion but for the ears. As a single guitar in a band there's a lot of spaces to fill and very little time for soloing. This pedal is one of those "big sounding" pedals to me. I just want stereo outs...lol. This and Dark Star, Sunshine, Walrus' Lore, R1, Slo & Slotva win for having the "It" factor...imo. Thanks again for the great demo. Detroit.

Really love the cool tones of this pedal! Very powerful, and very inspiring. Though I will say, I miss your old style of pedal demos. It feels kind of strange not seeing your face or hearing your voice. You always seem so excited and passionate about the pedals you're reviewing, and that passion kind of gets lost in this new format.

This is the covid quarantine format, which I explained in the comments for my Synth-1 demo. Denmark is in full lockdown, which means I can’t go to my recording studio down town where I usually film my demos. Hence I’m now shooting my demos at home on VERY limited space on my very small desk in my very small home office, which I share with my girlfriend. I hope you understand these limitations and how they affect the videos. I simply can’t do the same here. Now you know why the format has changed 👍

OBNE isn't for everyone, which is why they ARE for everyone. There are sounds in all their pedals you can't get anywhere else. They're changing the game. I love the hyper-digital sound, reminds me of the crazy artifacts I get from the Flat Light, one of my favorites on my board. Excellent chords and movements as always Stefan.

That right there was my lockdown format during the beginning of the pandemic in 2020. Couldn’t go to my normal studio, and had to film from my tiny home office. Hence the videos looked a little bit different than usual. Hardly think it looks like or sounds like Knobs just because there’s top view shots and texts. Still think it looks and sounds like my voice like in all of my earlier and later videos 😊

Great demo as always! It was this demo along with the official one that made me pull the trigger. However I realized that the tremolo doesn't really behave as a real tremolo until you crank up the mix. Most of the sweep it behaves like it's shifting frequencies... kinda like an harmonic tremolo, but not really? Caught me off guard but at least it differs from your standard tremolo!

It's a good one, but I probably don't have any space for another one, or reasoning for it. At least not any time soon.

Never liked modulation much. I do now, courtesy Stefan and OBNE. Superb demo of a clever pedal. Stefan, here's an ask - as you (and many of us) are on lockdown, why don't you create a video where you stitch together a number of your "Let's Jam" sessions from the end of your demos? I'm sure we would all love to have that video of your music to help us through our days.........

The Walrus Audio Julianna is getting so much acclaim lately, was this pedal overlooked? The added phaser effect is something else. I have gotten plenty of pedals recently, but this and the Meris Hedra are still on my list because of the amazing and unique sounds they are able to create. Can't wait for the best of 2020 video this year. I really want to know which pedals have been your favs so far. Rooms has got to be in the top 3. :)

Mannnn, the Visitor sounds sick. You’re on the edge of convincing me to pick up a pedal for the third time! How do you think the Visitor would react to full wet sounds coming from the Dark Star? Would it be able to manipulate the sounds well?

Came here for the guitar demo, blown away by the synth bit! So many questions. Is that a phone app? I have a midi keyboard, is it possible to somehow use the pedal in conjunction with that and getting the sounds from my laptop...?

Yeah, it's a synth app called Animoog. Don't know if that specific app is available for laptop, but you can definitely hook a midi keyboard up to your laptop and fire up another synth app an duse that with your pedals. You can also get a MIDI to Bluetooth converter cable and use your midi keyboard with your phone.
