I agree with you a case knife under $30 would just about have to have broken blades for me not to buy it.

Welcome back. I'm new to the scene, so you are new to me. Nice finds. That '77 is very nice. I enjoy cleaning up old knives. They don't have to be high-end. Therapeutic either way. Finding a decent shape old knife can feel better then a brand new, high-end. Subbed. BTW, is the "BC" for British Columbia?

Well, you mentioned Old timer and Uncle Henry moving to China... Lol.. Here lately I'm 100% sure that Case Knives have pretty much taken the same route.. Their quality SUCKS. FIT AND FINISH is way less than OK.. Their grandparents are rolling over in their graves.. The company has completely went to CRAP.. I'm done with buying a Case.. I'm just hoping that the new owners don't trash the company so bad, that people won't even want their old knives... Which were once the best in the world... Not more more.. Rough Rider make knives compatible with Case now, and for 1/4 the price..

I will agree that the overall quality of case knives have went down but is still think that most knives from them are still good quality and if there is something wrong their customer service will take care of it. I definitely prefer there older knives however I still think they come out with some really awesome knives like the smkw exclusive sea dragon bone.
