Not every bit, the latest album was way too "mainstream" (which is a bizarre term in regards to Igorrr), simplistic and coherent compared to the older work.

fun fact: igorrr is a french musician but language they sing in is completely made up, except for PARPAING when they got George Fisher from cannibal corpse to do vocals. the song ieuD is also amazing. I love this band so much. thanks for the upload, keep up the great work!!

The first time I listened to their song "Musette Maximum" I almost died of laughter. I felt like I was listening to a really good musical joke. Not in the way that they are a joke, but rather that they are professionals intending to make you laugh with musical oximorons. And it's amazing.

Spirituality and Distortion will go down as one of the greatest works of metal of all-time. It is one of the most earnestly produced and performed pieces of music in recent memory. Himalaya is my favorite song off the album, great choice

The bass player in this album is pretty incredible. He's only a session musician, but he was the bassist for one of the craziest death metal bands, Spawn of Possession.

that look of utter bewilderment at the start followed by you being absolutely over the moon filled me with a kind of indescribable joy. if you do this band again i have a few recommendations: Kung Fu Chevre the final track of igorrr's most recent album and one of my favorites along with Himilayan Massive Ritual. Other than that we have the vocalist solo tracks Grosse Barbe and Tout petit Moineau which show off the monumental talent of the two primary vocalists. (male and female respectively

Also a few things i want to note since they just crossed my mind Igorrr normally features two vocalists Laure Le Prunenec (the woman holding the puppy at the end) and Laurent Lunoir (the main male vocalist) with Gautier Serre often doing sampling and guitar work to fill out and compose the work however with Savage Sinusoid (the album Cheval is on) they decided to minimize sampling so they have a ton of session musicians and guest appearances (notably Travis Ryan of Cattle Decapitation provides guest vocals here). All in all Igorrr is quite the band and lots of fun to listen to if you don't mind the chaos or the fact they don't take themselves too serious

Yesss, more Igorrr Please, they are great! The newest record is really good! For example "Downgrade Desert", or older tracks like Opus Brain or IeuD. There is also another band with the same composer and the female singer called "Corpo Mente". Very similar but less crazy and no growls. Also really cool

Himalaya Massive Ritual is probably my favourite song of last year and is off Igorrr's most recent effort. No video that I know of to accompany it but it should keep you interested throughout.

Himalaya Massive Ritual is such a good song! I don’t know if you’ve seen the video Igorrr did where it showed some of the weirdest things he’s made/used for his albums. One of them was a propane tank cut in half and welded back together that made the sounds at the very beginning of Himalaya Massive Ritual. So cool to watch.

Igorr is easily one of my favorite discoveries of the past few years. They have so many unique and amazing songs. Himalayan Massive Ritual is great and Downgrade Desert is still one of my favorites. Also check out the band Corpo Mente if you haven't already. The female singer and main guitarist/producer from Igorrr making more mellow but still uniquely intense compositions with a few other musicians. My favorite has to be the live studio recording of Dorma. Too bad they only did one album.

If you want to hear a pretty heavy song by Igorrr go for "ieuD" - if you want something more atmospheric and electronic influenced but also massively heavy (!) go for "Opus Brain"! :-)

I don't know if you understand French but the actual psalm you hear at the start of the song says "Blessed be God, the father of Jesus, Christ the Lord, who blessed us and filled us with benedictions of the soul, in Heaven as on ARRRRRRRRGHHHH" The end with the signer just screaming his brain out over the church choir is hilarious as well

uh nice tigran is smooth, i also totally see his face inserted in a little part of the original video, would fit perfpect somehow, as weird reference as igorrr does.

Igorrr - tout petit moineau (live 2014) is one of the best performances I've ever seen, you MUST check it! Even for yourself, not for the camera, if you want.

Been loving your reacts vids @key of geebz. Watch them on the TV with the mrs and kids. Cool to see you cover such a wide variety including Karnivool who come from my home town perth, WA and I have known for many years through the local music scene. trust me this song is relatively sane compared to the entire catalog - i would recommend tendon as it is one of the craziest songs and it was my introduction to Igorrr

It's always a good sign when someone has to genuinely laugh over music that one never heard before. I had the same reaction upon hearing Igorrr - Vegetable Soup as i had with Mr.Bungle.

I would describe Igorrr as a study in contrasts, supported by extremely "out of the box" thinking!
