A glimpse at Sebastian and Ominis's future in Lenne (MC)'s story. Ominis married Lenne as part of a deal, but Sebastian is her devoted right-hand man. So much has changed after Hogwarts, and an old grudge remains unresolved.
This is a preview of the future in Lenne's story! Giving a taste of where this story is headed before the written fanfic's out.

I really can't wait for a full story. I am sucked in! I can't get enough, and I'm already drooling for more. The way you tell stories with your videos makes me feel like I'm actually a part of them, a little fly on the wall to taken in to even make a buzzing sound.

Hm, I do like some of your characterisation in your videos, I like that you kept Sebastian's most charming trait, his determination -coughstubbornnesscough- and I agree with Sebastian about Ominis' delusional self-righteousness, good on Seb for calling it out like it is, and I agree that Ominis is totally the "ignorance is bliss" kind of guy and would rather not know what MC and Seb are up to when it's dark stuff, but boy can I not picture Ominis being any sort of proud of his heritage, not even as an act, especially after his aunt died chasing the dream that Salazar was a good guy and Ominis got to see how it was for naught since Salazar turned out to be exactly as history says (I was really disappointed about that too, such a wasted opportunity to touch on the warped way history often remembers individuals). I'm straight up writing Ominis choosing to never sire children (contraceptive potions, for assigned female at birth MCs, all the way!) because he wants his line to die out, like Isolt Gaunt, and he burns his own name off the family tree tapestry after getting the balls to tell his parents to piss off and making a decision that ensures that the family wealth and social status is demolished by the time that his brother, Marvolo Gaunt, has Merope who, as we know, gives birth to little ol' Voldypants. I have Ominis grow out of the 'ignorance is bliss' thing too, going from wanting to know nothing, to realising that if he knows and is involved, he can make change and influence the way Seb and MC do things. I feel like his desire for ignorance is more due to feeling like he can't change the person's mind or affect the outcome, so it's better not to know and not have guilt or responsibility, yet he wants to be a 'good person' which directly conflicts with his denial tendencies. He's so fun to write- (sorry for rambling, I have a lot of thoughts about these kids) So, yeah, wildly different direction it seems, but yours is certainly an interesting interpretation however. Man, your Ominis should just be honest with himself and admit he's more obsessed with Seb than even Seb is with Lenne xP

Haha no you're good, thank you for sharing! Your interpretation is how I approach Ominis in my other story Sentire, where I have him completely wanting to leave the Gaunts. And also agree with the desire for ignorance thing. In this story, without spoiling much, you're actually on the nose with the last thing you said! Ominis in this one has a lot of identity and self-confidence issues (Seb's "get your act together"). This story spans the course of 10 years so there's a lot of missed context how he arrived at this point, but hopefully it'll make sense once it's all out 😅

@@AlentiaHart Ooh, sounds exciting, I'm always relieved that you don't mind my ramblings. Hm, identity issues, ey? I wonder if in your story Ominis managed to get brainwashed by his parents into thinking that the only thing he's good for is a sperm bank of little Slytherin snakes. Or I suppose tadpoles x3 Ah, technically Ominis doesn't want to leave the Gaunts in my story he actually wants to be a part of his family so much, to the point that he *almost* accepts an arranged marriage to save the family wealth, despite already being in a relationship with Seb and MC, who essentially go "sure, we don't mind, if it makes you happy,", (hush Seb, we can just murder his wife after the wedding and first-born) and that particular arc was Ominis finally accepting that there is nothing he can do to be 'good enough' for his parents. Then he does the cut ties stuff and dooms the family to poverty xD Ah, I would read Sentire, but I have a bit of a problem with reading written works in progress, I can't handle the anticipation and the suspense of waiting for a new chapter, so I usually only read completed novel series and fics- plus I'm so swamped in general that I haven't had time to read in ages. OTL I want time to read... ToT I'm not sure why it's different for these videos. Maybe because these clips are too short for me to get super immersed and are little blurbs rather than a continuous story. Then again, I got a bit of the anticipation drop with your ILY series. No pressure to continue it, of course. Please take it as a compliment that you managed to get me emotionally invested in such a short series of clips! But yeah, reading is more my thing than video xD
