A team at work congratulated their boss on his retirement, but he was quite surprised because he wasn't planning on leaving so early. As it turned out, the new boss blackmailed the old man and kicked him out of the office. The young man took charge of the team, but instead of leading them, he started humiliating his employees. It looked like the company was about to collapse, but the former boss wasn't willing to let his job be ruined that easily...

I think everyone should be able to work until they don't want to anymore. Often an older person has so much experience to give, but companies overlook this and see a number instead of their value as a human being.

Exactly!!! They don't see the concept that NOBODY gains experience like practically overnight. It ALWAYS teaches slowly, b/c it requires 3 IMPORTANT tools -- "PATIENCE", "TRAINING", & "DISCIPLINE"!!! In addition to that, it shouldn't just stop @ just age. Co.'s need to open up their stupid, squinty eyes & give all good, honest applicants the opportunity to show what they can do.

Not really. It is like saying that "everyone should be able to drive until they don't want to do so anymore" Although getting older means more experience, but as you get older your reactions will be affected in a negative way as your abilities in general. Therefore, in some positions older doesn't always mean better regardless of exprience. A smart and intelligent boss is the one who knows how to use an elderly person's experience. Of course, experience is a gem in a work place. However, it is not a good idea to leave an experienced older person in a fast-paced front line position as it is too stressful and doesn't let the experience to flourish. Therefore, assigning someone older to higher postions with less stress and slower pace is the one that every business man/woman should look after
@elizabethmurray5603
@elizabethmurray5603 Жыл бұрын
@@ravenheart369 if you are under 30 or even 40 you are probably thinking the same way as most companies. An office job does not endanger lives, therefore cannot be compared with driving. I never said that older people were better than the younger ones, they just have a great deal to offer knowledge wise as long as they keep up with technology, but still they have the basic knowledge. Also, I am not saying that all older people have the ability to work, but I do think it is up to the individual. Would you say you had less knowledge than a 16 year old?

People should never underestimate people because of their age, especially if they're seniors and Ben getting fired because of his age was not only wrong but also illegal. This was another excellent video about a serious social problem, ageism. The protagonist was just plain unethical, a crook. The actor that played the role was excellent in that role. I grew to more and more detest him as his faults kept piling up, lying, blackmail, theft, elitism, sexism... What I really like is that you brought in veteran DramatizeMe actors, like the head janitor and the owner of the company, played by Istan Rozumny. He was excellent on the screen and was used by the writers to clean up the office conflict. Thank you for another excellent, social commentary video with an excellent life message. I give this video a 5 E for excellent rating.

Honestly, when they feel the time is right. We have athletes who retire as early as under 40 because they made a ridiculous cash flow. Others working in offices plan out their retirement for years to come, or they should, and see how their balance stands for the future before they determine what age.

Let's absolutely mention the people who literally can't retire cause their job gives them more money then a age pension
