Bernardwill 7196 , is absolutely right . The truck is made in the late 60s and 70s . It was made in West Germany , and slightly modified in Belgium . It was well designed, sturdy, and very durable, extra powerful.

Was in Baghdad early 80's for a few years, before all this war shit. These trucks were all over the place being used. Bullet proof they are this model, like the bull nosed MAN at the time. Loads of these Mercs all over Africa as well. No wonder they were nick named ""HItlers Revenge", solid as a rock. Bit of a pig to get to the engine bay but strong trucks

Ob man einen solchen LKW umbauen muss, ist den Umständen entsprechend zu bewerten. Was aber die Arbeiten anbelangt, so ist diese perfekt gemacht und sehr gut ausgeführt - ich ziehe meinen Hut, vor solchen Handwerkern / Mechanikern !

This truck is not from 1935 , late 1970 or early 1980 . 1924 means 19 = 190 PS 24 = 24 tons capacity. I am a german , so I know it, thats all clickbait.

This thing is a curiosity... It's not a 19 ton truck. It has 3 axles - so it should be a 26 ton truck. The indication 1924 is no longer “up to date”. It's conceivable that there's been an OM442A in this thing for a long time... And then it has 350 HP... The variations are almost limitless. The last ones rolled off the production line in Wörth in the 90s. The CKD parts sets have gone all over the world. And when the machine arrives, one from the SK will also fit.The old face is also striking. 3-axle "Schwerer Kurzhauber" truck usually have the headlights in the bumper. Therefore original year of manufacture before 1967.

Will probably separate long before it has the chance to rust. So no paint needed. Would give difficulty to weld back together then, you have to remove paint to weld. 😂

Очень правильно проделанная работа, под такими углами варится рама для ее удлинения, только перед установкой надо было покрасить раму с внутренной стороны.

Mercedes stopped making them in the 80s because of EU regulations . New trucks with engines under the cabin . Put today, they’re still made in Saudia Arabia.

These Trucks were made in Germany, Brazil and Iran, These trucks - made the name “ for quality, robust, reliability- Germany became famous for. TATA had a license to build Mercedes Benz trucks. Today - Mercedes Benz builds trucks in India for export. Modern Fuso and MB designs.
