I love your videos and use a lot of these shaders. You might want to change your intro. This music doesnt fit, it makes your vid feel cheap and it's too loud. I would advise changing it to something more climatic, a simple and gentle melody.

thanks.. I really appreciate your feedback, you're right.. In the editor the audio was right, but for some reason when I exported it and uploaded to youtube it gets louder..I'm trying to change the audio but youtube editor doesn't me to edit it now u_u.. idk, if re-upload the whole thing again or..

5:40 I would make a Mark seam -> uv unwrap., for a more correct grid, because now it is inherited from the sphere.

thank you for the feedback 🙂, you're right..In this case i didn't want the video to be too long, and spend time doing manual UVs and straighten them.. so I decided to do the quick way instead... I tried to dont modify too much the topology so, hopefully it wont affect too much the final result.

Proximamente voy a hacer una mini serie de efectos 2D.. ya que muchas personas me han pedido VFX 2D.. aunque seran unos pocos videos, ya que considero que para el 2D VFX casi siempre es mejor dibujar los efectos simplemente..

@@republicavictinera si, me gusta la idea.. quisiera esperar un poco a ver si los desarrolladores de Godot exponen una opcion para hacer "stencil buffer".. sino habria que hacerlo a la antigua, con una pantalla vinculada a una sub-camara

Do you have any tips to make it exactly like in the thumbnail? There it has more red probably to gloom, I tried to increase the raw color and even allow ambient light in the flag but it didn't look good.

make sure to have an Environment node active... and enable +Glow and play with these options a bit, until get a nice result.. [note: I have re-uploaded the video [audio fix] this is an old version]

how could you export these effects so that others can use them in their projects?

just put everything in to a VFX folder, in the root directory, and just copy and paste that entire folder...

May i request that you do shaders in shader code? Maybe a project file that contains the written shaders?

I use code shader sometimes, when there's a lot of math involved in the shader.. but for these effects I preffer to keep it simple and use visual shaders, since that way is easy to learn and understand.. specially for people who are newbies in shaders.. (remember you can always conver Visual Shaders -> to Code Shaders, there's a drop icon in godot that does that automatically 🙂)
