Old School Chicken and Noodles | Easy One Pot Meal

Hey y’all! In today’s video I share an old school, childhood favorite! My mother cooked this meal at least once a week. Now I know it’s because it was such an easy and delicious one pot meal to make. She made hers slightly different, using chicken wings but the dish is still amazing! I hope you’ll give it a try!
7 boneless skinless chicken thighs
1 package egg noodles
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of celery soup
8 cups water
2 tablespoons butter
Diced onion & green pepper
Garlic powder (1 tablespoon)
Onion powder (1 tablespoon)
Kosher salt (1 teaspoon)
Black pepper (1 tablespoon)
Creole seasoning (optional)

I freeze it all the time. Generally you don’t want to freeze noodles but because they are supposed to be on the over cooked side for chicken and noodles it’s fine. If you know you are going to freeze it, you can pull the portion to be frozen before the noodles are completely done and they will cook all the way through when you reheat it.
